I ordered a bed in a color not shown on the floor. When it arrived, it was the wrong color, so I refused delivery. I called the store and Brian ordered the correct color. Three days before the new delivery date, Brian called to say the color I wanted was not available, but that if I came into the store and picked out another bed, I could still have my original delivery date (which was a Saturday and which I had to wait weeks for). I went into the store and after picking out a new bed learned that I could only keep my original delivery date if I ordered an "in-stock" bed--something that was in their warehouse. I bit the bullet, paid way more for a bed than I wanted to (because my choices were limited), and ordered a new bed in the color I wanted. On the day of delivery, the delivery guys called me more than an hour before my scheduled time to say they'd be there in 15 mins. I was an hour away. I raced home to find them waiting on my doorstep (yes; they did wait). They brought the bed inside and asked "You want us to put it together?" I said "of course; I paid $75 for delivery AND INSTALLATION" of the bed. They seemed put out but agreed to do it. They then discovered they didn't have any of the hardware to put it together. They scrounged screws and nuts from their truck and got it together. I called Brian to complain about: the incorrect delivery time, their attitudes and the missing hardware. I asked that someone come again with the correct hardware and replace the hardware the guys used and I asked for a refund of my delivery fee. He said he understood my frustration and would contact his manager in an effort to "make it right." I never heard from him again. I recently bought another mattress and bed, and I did NOT use Mattress Discounters.
Description of Work: I made two purchases from them; the first was a mattress and this transaction went fine. The second did not go as well, this is the transaction with which I had problems.
