I met with Thomas to discuss the project scope. He was professional and I received the estimate in a timely manner. Also, the estimate was reasonable and within our budget. Though the community board chose a different vendor for this specific project, we would have no problems in reaching out to Certified, Inc for future work.

Certified was a pleasure to work with. They were recommended by a family member who just had their roof replaced. Certified was the most competitive price, partnered with us while we worked through our insurance agent (insurance claim), and completed the job beautifully. I would highly recommend.

Certified Incorporated did a great job with our roofing and gutters. They coordinated and worked with our solar energy company. They were professional, punctual, experienced and efficient. They were helpful and explained technical details well. They addressed all questions to satisfaction. Everyday they cleaned up all trash they created and took it with them in the dumpster they brought. Each worker was respectful and polite. I would definitely highly recommend them

Overall, working with Certified Inc, was a good experience. We got quotes from five or six roofing companies. Certified was in the competitive range, though not the cheapest. We ultimately went with Certified because Tom, the owner, came to our house to discuss the job. I think the personal touch, plus his knowledge relative to some of the other people we spoke with, gave us the comfort to give the work to Certified. We had some snags getting the work scheduled and once it was we encountered a slight delay because the scope of the work was a bit bigger than initially anticipated by Tom. Having said that, I think all the delays were understandable, and I think Tom and his team made all good faith efforts to get it done as soon and as quickly as possible. Once he finally could get the work going, he and his PM brought a team of nine guys to knock it out in one, 12 hour day. They did a great job on clean up. We live in NE Washington, and while not a row house, our property line is only feet from our house. The Certified team was very respectful of my neighbors property and kept everyone happy. I have already recommended Certified to my neighbor.

The entire process from getting an estimate and contract to the finished installation of the new roof went well. The price was very reasonable and communication throughout was great. When the new shakes were brought to the job site on installation day, we were concerned that the shakes were not the right size, but as soon as we brought it to their attention, the issue was immediately resolved. It delayed the start while they waited for the new shakes, but in order to ensure that the job would be completed in one day as promised, another worker was added to the project and indeed it was finished in one day. The area was cleaned and all debris was removed. The roof looks wonderful and we are very pleased! Certified gets our highest recommendation!

We have been in our house for 30 years and have work with many contractors during that time and Certified Inc. was hands down one of the best experiences we've had during a project. James Pingleton was one of the most personable, professional and competent salesmen we have encountered in a long time. He explained exactly what their company offered and answered all of our concerns. We interviewed a total of four roofing companies and the others did not come close to what Certified offered at cost. The workers were equally as professional and the project was completed on time as promised. Hello Fellow Homeowners! As a long-time newspaper columnist covering the consumer beat, I was understandably wary about finding a roofing company that would be both competent and totally trustworthy. My husband, a psychiatrist who'd had a traumatic past experience with a roofing job on another house, was also very concerned. Hence we let the selection process drag on for several years until that inevitable big storm resulted in our first minor roof leak ever. We were thrilled with the extraordinary roofing work done by Certified, Inc., a company recommended by friends both in the Washington area as well as the Baltimore suburbs. The members of our crew, led by Javier, were extraordinarily diligent and tenacious--despite working in the blazing August sun! They were also tenacious and stayed true to the project, which required replacement of 120 linear feet of wood planking. We were exceptionally pleased with the results once the two-day job was completed. We also can't say enough good things with Tom, the company's owner, who's an excellent communicator and worked with us closely on scheduling and other details. From the beginning, he quickly gained our trust and kept it throughout the project--even though he was away in Los Angeles for his son's sporting event in the days leading up to the roofing work. To summarize, we heartily recommend Certified for your roofing work. Needless to say, we now sleep more soundly--especially on nights when heavy storms occur. It went very well. The workers came on time in the morning and worked through the entire day, completing the job halfway through the second. Honestly, I did not know a townhouse roof would take so long to complete. I can't really say whether the roof's issues were fixed as it was just completed a few weeks ago, but the time and quality of material spent coupled with the long transferable warranty gives big peace of mind. A few pieces of shingles were left around the yard/bushes, but nothing major. I plan on potentially continuing with them on a minor or major windows project. I have already recommended them to a friend for their potential job! Certified did an excellent job replacing the shingles on our roof. Our roof looks better than others I've seen done in our neighborhood by other companies. Both the office staff and our crew foreman, Javier, were very responsive to any questions or concerns I had during the installation. Clean up was very good - roofing is a big, messy job, so I didn't expect them to catch every nail but they came pretty close. Work was done in two days and we're very pleased.

Certified did a great job replacing the flat roof on the addition of my house. The job was quite complicated as each of the companies I called for quotes recommended different roofing systems. I went with Certified because I had used them for the asphalt shingle roof on my main roof and they recommended a 3 layer roof (ISO board, base sheet, then torch down rubber roof) with a 20 year product warranty. Their sales rep James was much more knowledgeable about flat roofs than their competitors. They were very flexible scheduling this job around some pre-work I had to do on the roof. I was very impressed with Juan, the crew leader, who was very conscientious about all the of details that the job entailed. I was concerned about damage to the existing wood and I was relieved that even though there was some damage the crew replaced what was necessary. I have had bad experiences in the past where roofing companies want to put a new roof over damaged plywood just to get the job done. I have recommended Certified to my friends in the past based on the quality of my asphalt shingle roof and I would also highly recommend them for flat roofs based on this job.

Excellent sales rep, excellent foreman and staff. Meticulous clean up of debris. You couldn't even tell they had been there. Roof looks outstanding. Very responsive to our request for houses we could look at with roof colors we were interested in. Overall, really great to deal with and very, very happy with new roof. Couldn't have been a better experience. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Great service, competitive price, and great workmanship.

Our experience with Certified was exceptional from start to finish. We worked with James Pingleton, who was punctual, professional and answered all questions by phone, email or text. He made himself extremely available and went above and beyond to have the work on our roof started earlier than later, as every time it rained, we had water coming into our bedroom. Juan Carlos was wonderful as well- he too was punctual to all appointments, courteous and answered all questions. We would certainly recommend Certified Inc to our family and friends.

Super happy to have found Certified through a friend and neighbor who runs a home inspection service. Turns out other neighbors have used Certified and were very satisfied with their work. I had several folks out to give quotes and James (sales rep) was by far the most responsive and most thorough in his assessment and overview of the the project. He also hooked me up with an awesome solar company that's installing panels in the next several months. In the lead up to the job, Dianne, Jody and James kept me well informed of scheduling and process. When rain pushed the schedule back a couple days, Freddy and William had the guys do some preemptive temporary repairs to keep us dry through the storms. During construction, James showed up on his day off to make sure the project was on target, and called in a number of times from a road trip to make sure all was well. They were able to get the job done in a couple of days without any big drama or surprises. No hidden charges or mark ups. And they were great about trying to keep the costs in line with the estimate. It's a nice feeling to not have to worry about the roof anymore, and I know if something comes up James and Certified will have my back. During August 2017, we contracted Certified Incorporated to replace our back roof and skylights. From the initial consultation (with James Pingleton) to the date of completion everyone we worked with was professional, down-to earth, and made themselves readily available to address any questions or concerns that we had. We are thoroughly pleased with this service and would recommend them to family and friends. Rarely do I take the time to write up a recommendation. Certified Incorporated did an excellent job in replacing our cedar shake roof. Everyone with whom we dealt at the company was terrific. James made our choice of roofing company easy - he was extremely knowledgable, professional and responsive. Javier and his team were simply excellent. They were punctual, polite, considerate and as unobtrusive as possible, and cleaned up every day. We are very happy.

Despite some rain delays, the work was done effectively. The quote answered all our questions and allowed us to feel good about our decision. They went out of their way to protect our new driveway, and kept the work area organized and clean. They were responsive to any concerns that we had during the work. Overall, we were quite pleased with the job and the outcome.

If I could give ratings higher than A (such as A+, A++, etc.), I would. Certified is a rare company that not only met every expectation I had for my house, they exceeded them all. They replaced my roof, siding, skylights, gutters, downspouts, and shutters. I can't believe how beautiful "this old house" looks. It feels brand new. I am especially blown away by the quality of the workmanship they did on my our siding. They put these beautiful borders around every window, light, electrical box, and fan, using material that exactly matches the siding color. Phenomenal! Included in the contract is a hard-to-believe warranty. Who else has a 50 year non-prorated transferable warranty on materials and a 25 year non-prorated transferable warranty on workmanship? I considered three other companies for this job. Certified's price was as good or better than the others and their warranty far exceeded the others. Now, for the people. You won't find nicer people than James, Jody, Tom, and Diana. Through the process of interacting with these folks over the phone or in person, I feel like have a bunch of new friends. They are just great people who truly care about their customers. And all the guys who did the actual installation were super hardworking and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Certified if you are considering replacing your roof, siding, and/or gutters. I have no doubt you will be delighted if you do.

It went wonderfully. This is the second time I've used them. Every person who hires a contractor is concerned about the contractor's reliability. With this company there is no need to be concerned. The owner investigated the work to be done and wrote an estimate on the spot, so there was no wait time for the mail or email. A 3 day schedule was given to me before work started and they kept to it. The workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

It went great. The only thing that bothered us that the manager James was supposed to come to our house after work was completed and never did. He did not even call us to check on things. That was very disappointing. Other than that this is the only complaint we had. The workers cleaned up everything great. We are very happy with our new roof and would suggest them to a friend.
