I called Mr Brooks and he was on time. His work was perfect. I am very pleased with the new locks. I would recommend his service to anyone. It is nice to do business with a professional who has an old time work ethic. Mr. Brooks did great job. He said if there was a problem call him he stood behind his work. This is rare in business these days. I am glad I found him on Angies List.

I have used this service previous when my son lost the keys the first time. The service, response, and work were excellent. I did learn an important lesson to make sure what telephone number I am using. I did not realize that I initially called a HomeAdvisor rep. I was insistent of the service vendor I wanted to use and they tried hard to steer me to other vendors.

Had an appointment scheduled with the provider - he didn't show up. Contacted him through Angie's List and asked if he had forgotten we had an appointment. He rescheduled for 6 days later, and then cancelled because of the snow.

The service was wonderful and I would use the locksmith services again.

He did a good job. I did pay extra as I needed some extra work done. He had good personality and I appreciated it.

Mr. Brooks was very responsive determining what remedy was best for my needs. He evaluated the need well, was prompt and efficient with the installation. What impressed me as well was the education he provided in terms of enhancing security of the door and pointing out where improvements could be made for optimum security. This was not an upselling tactic; it was him sharing his knowledge to see what my lay eye never would have considered. True value!

Despite running into some issues, Mr. Brooks took care of all of our concerns.

Service went well, the locksmith was knowledgeable about older locks which was great because our house was new and had several different lock systems. The process was smooth however, be aware that the $79 is only for basic lock changing. Additional doors, different locks, getting extra keys, etc. is an extra cost. It turns out we did not count our 2 basement doors downstairs or our security door going to the backyard so those were extra (hence the $120 additional). In all, we were satisfied with the work, it was quick and professional. The locksmith was also easily reached by text and phone. He was prompt and pleasant.

I could never schedule a time for them to do the service that worked out for both of us. He was persistent to try and get it scheduled with me at first. I never got to use the deal.

I purchased the "rekeying' of four locks for $79. However, "rekeying" only allows the setting of existing locks on the existing key. I lost the existing key, and was looking to change the locks to a new key. This led to an additional $120 charge, although he did not charge me for the cost of replacing one lock that he could not rekey. Ultimately, I did get all my locks on one key, and he even helped adjust my front door to close easier. Be sure you understand the "Angie's Deals" and what you get before you make a purchase.

There were no issues with the work and it was performed quickly

It was fine. He showed up when he was supposed to and completed the job. He was a nice enough guy. I was happy enough that it was dealt well. There was a materials charge. There were materials for the doorknob being switched out. I can't remember if there was additional fee on top of that. He told me what the problem was and then he told me how much it would be and what my options were. He showed up on time. I don't really know in the scale of things like that but the pricing seems reasonable. I kept his card.

Charles was very accommodating, punctual, and best of all, honest. He arrived shortly before the scheduled 7am time, and went straight to work. I had purchased a special deal on AngiesList.com that included 4 rekeyed locks for $79.99. The deal mentioned that each additional lock would cost the regular rate of $20 (clearly a mistake, as this is the same price as the special). Without us even asking, he told us he would honor the listed price and then correct the offer page. It took him a couple of hours to finish the job, and we are very satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend his services.

I went online onto Angie's List and selected Mr. Quik-Pik which guaranteed service within two days. After talking to my wife, we wanted quicker service to unlock our storm door. I then researched more locksmiths in this area through Angie's List and selected Laurel Locks. They were able to come out the next evening and did a fabulous job and Mr. Quik-Pik was no longer needed. I then emailed Mr. Quik-Pik and stated that the services were no longer needed. Charles, of Mr. Quik-Pik called on the morning of November 7 to verify our need for service. I told him the matter was taken care of and that his locksmith service was no longer needed. He was very nice and explained to me that for a needed refund, I needed to call Angie's List. I called Angie's list today (November 7, 2014) and was sent this email for a refund.
