Description of Work: Replaced Moen filter cartridge in bath sink. Identified defective Moen part in tub diverter, contacted Moen service representatives and arranged for replacement part covered under warranty (even though a different company had performed the original installation 1.5 years ago). Delayed billing until 10 days later when replacement part was received and installed.

Description of Work: I used Zepp Plumbing & Heating to fix a pin hole leak in the pipe, we had the proper pipe to the pump house and the water was spearing out.

Description of Work: We have had Zepp service our water system (Pump, pressure tanks, filter, etc.) on several occasions.

Description of Work: I phoned Zepp plumbing and it took 2 days to respond. I explained that I had a new toilet install in a newly remodeled bathroom that was leaking from the base. We scheduled an appointment the following week, on the only day that I was available. The plumber showed up on time with a helper, I'm assuming an apprentice. I explained that the cabinets were still raw wood and had not been finished yet and to be very careful. I gave them a black trash bag to drape over the side of the vanity and taped it down. I didn't consider putting anything over the built-in cabinet opposite the toilet. It is a small bathroom. The toilet was removed and carefully placed on a trash bag which they provided and placed in an another room. The leak had been caused by the fact that the previous plumber had put an offset flange in and they explained that the new toilets were not designed for them. Also the other plumber did not even attach the flange to the floor, which allowed the toilet to rock when sat on and the wax ring to break the seal. I told them that I had remodeled the entire bathroom down to studs myself with my husband's help with the heavy framing. I did everything but the plumbing. I asked the plumber make sure he informed me ahead of time about any issues that should arise. Also I asked him twice to make sure that the toiled was centered. He had to replace the toilet drain pipe (the area below the toilet was completely accessible and open in our basement). He then had to drill through the thick bathroom tile to secure the flange. He used a piece of 2x4, which I supplied, and they used my chop saw which was still set up nearby to cut the wood to the right length. They needed to add more wood to the floor area to screw the flange to. The piping looks good and doesn't leak. When he was done I noticed that the toilet was not even close to centered. Now the paper holder that I planned to use will not fit. Additionally, I had installed a towel bar and hung a picture centered over the toilet. They are to the side now. Also, His black soled feet left black marks on my raw cabinet doors. There were pvc shavings all over the basement area where they worked and out in the hallway. The next day we found water in our basement. We put a bucket under the leak and called Zepp back. We arranged for them to come 5 days later, which was my only available day. A different plumber came the second time. He quickly found the problem. It was a loose fitting that had worked loose with the movement of the drain pipe. A simple screw tightening did the trick. We weren't charged for the second visit. I complained about the off-center toilet but there was nothing to be done since the holes were already drilled into my brand new tile floor. The first plumber needed more wood to screw to than what was there. I was perfectly able to get that wood in quickly, after all, I had remodeled the whole bathroom. The problem was not explained to me before the toilet was permanently set. I would have solved that problem. Now, every time I go into the bathroom I am sick about the toilet placement. I spent weeks on that bathroom making sure everything was just right and because the plumber didn't want to spend the extra few minutes to solve a simple problem I have to live with the toilet too close to the vanity. The toilet doesn't leak now, but the symmetry of the bathroom is permanently screwed up. You can tell it is a mistake.

Description of Work: They replaced the shower modules in two upstairs bathrooms with pressure regulating Moen fixtures which made an immediate difference for us and eliminated our long-term problem of scalding if a faucet was turned on elsewhere when someone was taking a shower. Additionally, our dishwasher--rarely used-- had spewed water over the floor when I last used it. Another plumber had come out and told me that the unit had to be replaced, but never checked the hoses as I asked. The Zepp plumber checked it out, found a clogged hose, cleaned it out, and saved me the price of a replacement unit.

Description of Work: I had 5 items that needed to be worked on by a plumber. Zepp gave me a price on the phone for 2 items, i.e., replacing the cold water pressure tank and also fixing the broken PVC pipe that drains sump pump water out of the house. Mike Dodd, the plumber, did an excellent job on the replacement and fix job on this. I additionally had 3 other items: 1) fix the leak in the spikot outside, 2) fix the leak on the kitchen faucet sprayer, 3) fix the leak on the kitchen faucet itself. Mike was able to diagnose and quickly fix the spikot issue. Further, since winter is approaching, he showed me where the water turn off valves were located. On the sprayer issue, he replaced some seats/springs and that seems to have fixed that problem. He futher advised me to call the manufacturer of my sink faucet as it was a lifetime warranty and that I should order replacement parts and he could then fix it. So I called and sure enough, new parts are being sent free of charge. Mike didn't charge me additionally for the 3 other items he fixed or consulted on, which was very nice. So basically, I paid for 2 items but got 3 other things resolved. He worked very professionally and was personable and pleasant during his visit. I would definitely recommend Zepp for any plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Sorry did not get the name of the person i talked to on the phone , called to replace a sump pump.Quote me a charge which i think was reasonable. Gave me a time frame ,they were punctual , very professional. I had a slow drain in my bathroom which he cleaned without an extra charge. I would definitely use and recomend them.
