Simple Solutions Contracting

David, was prompt in meeting me for the estimate, very helpful in solving many problems with my aging home.  We never got to the reason I originally contacted him, appliance repair or replacement, as my dishwasher started working again.  He was up front about areas he could work on and areas it would be better to use another type of contractor.  I plan to contact David for replacing a patio door, replacing my outdoor lighting, and  painting my front porch.  The repairs he made on my front porch and other areas in the home are well done.  David had to find or repair the spindles on my porch railing and repair a support column.  Great job at a fair price.  His price matched his estimate.

David Fester (DGC) was a nightmare to deal with. He provided us with the lowest estimate and promised that the job would be done in one month. The job took over four months. He would leave the jobsite every two weeks to go skiing and would leave incompetent people without supervision to do the work. The work quality was absolutely the worst. The borders on the walls were not covered so the stain from the floor was all over them. The walls were not sanded properly so the paint job was all botchy and warped. The material that was promised to be bought for the kitchen and bathrooms were of much lower quality than promised. The lighting fixtures were not property installed. The hardwood floor refinishing had to be redone again due to the botchy sand work. Fester would complain on a daily basis that he was not making any money on this deal cause he had underestimated the work. He was angry and upset all the time and a complete unprofessional. Please DO NOT hire this contractor if you want to keep your sanity and health!!
