HOW DID IT GO? The party with DJ Mike was a super-dooper success. Mike did a fantastic job. We were thrilled. He helped us create a truly memorable party. Mike has a unique energy. I have seen other DJ s and Mike is by far the best. Sixty people is a lot to control, mainly teens, and Mike was able to keep everyone engaged. I was impressed at how he was able to shape the flow of the event so that it was never dull. We loved the way he got out on the dance floor, led line dances, set up games, gave out really cool glow in the dark stuff. It all moved along so well. I appreciated how he was very careful to build up the energy to the big Happy Birthday moment so the birthday boy felt special and honored. It was a truly great moment, very moving. Then Mike was able to swing back into big party mode and we finished with a bang. It was a masterly job. I am so impressed. He has so much music! From the 60 s and even before, right up to the very latest. The sound was so clean and clear, it made us all want to dance. The lighting was a bonus we did not expect. Mike has the equipment to fill the dance floor with moving colored lights and different shapes. It really boosted the energy of the dancing. The teens especially enjoyed the Music videos and live footage of the dance floor as it was happening. They saw themselves on screen they loved it. The visuals also gave the older folks much to look at and enjoy. I don t know how he did it but he got the oldies up jumpin when he played music from way back. He manages to weave it all together so no one is left out. He has music for everyone. As a plus, Mike is a really nice guy, easy to talk to and plan with. He is a personable, impressive young man who told me he has studied acting, lighting sound design. That explains his professionalism and technical expertise. I also used him because I had heard of his voluntary work for schools. We felt he really wanted to make our party great. Everyone had a blast He was so generous with his time and energy. It is clear he loves his work and took pride in making our party the best it could be. Mike is also a really tall, extremely good looking guy, which the teens loved!
