The plumber had to snake the drain 3 times and while it opened the drain, it became clogged again in less than 3 weeks. Winegar sent a second plumber out to clear the problem only charging the houly rate, not the first call rate or equipment charges. The second plumber cleared the problem in one try and we have had no problem since.

Pretty bad. Basically I paid for the plumber to show up and rip apart the kitchen ceiling without fixing the issue.

Bernie did a great job. He called ahead of time to say that he was on the way, diagnosed the problem pretty quickly, drained the water heater, and replaced the upper element and thermostat with spares that I had on hand. W.H. Winegar just became my new plumbing and heating go-to.

It took the plumber about two hours to repair it. he did a great job. Was professional and friendly.

They were great on the phone, asked questions as why we thought the water was coming from the toilet base. Very professional and polite. Made a quick appointment for plumber who was great. Quickly diagnosed the problem to be leaking flange seal. Was unable to find a replacement and had to order it. It took about a week to get the part and was replaced, solving the problem. Due to the delay in receiving the part (no fault of theirs), the company did not charge us for the part! It was a great experience and we will highly recommend W.H. Vinegar & Son.

Excellently! Jim came within the time window they provided. He quickly identified the problem and set about repairing it. The repair was a bit more intricate due to limited space and some poor quality work done (not by Winegar & Sons) in the past. Jim explained what he was doing, asked me to inspect the work and also cleaned up after himself. During the entire visit he was friendly, polite and professional. The cost was very reasonable.

Bernie was very professional and pleasant. He completed the work quickly and answered questions I had. I would definitely call this company for any plumbing problems.

Bernard arrived within the allotted service time despite the time of day when traffic is the absolute worst! He resolved the problem and when he was done, the area was cleaner than when he first came! I really appreciate him wearing booties over his shoe to keep my carpet clean!

Terry was a God Send! He was so patient with me and extremely responsive when i needed him. Im a new homeowner and I felt overwhelmed by all the little things that needed to be fixed (allot of little things). He made sure he helped in every way possible. I would highly recommend this company, they are professional, prompt, and fair. BTW, Terry let me me reach out to him if i noticed anything else that needed work, I even bugged him during the weekend because I thought that the water heater was broken, turns out that the valve wasn't on.... did i mention I'm new at this? :) Terry was very patient with me, came that following Monday and turned it on. Great Guy, Great Company.

Excellent. My appointment was scheduled between 10 a.m. and noon. Bernard called around 10 to say he might be a little past noon arrivng as the job he was doing was taking more time than planned. He called at 11:45 to say he was on the way and arrived close to noon. I appreciated his staying in touch and letting me know timing. Bernard (Bernie) did an excellent job. He was extremely nice and well mannered. He represented the company professionally.

I sent an email to Winegar on a Saturday morning with my list. I received a call back from Winegar on Monday morning to discuss my list and set up an appointment. The woman who called was very friendly and efficient. She said that someone would call between 8:00 and 9:00 on Wednesday before he arrived. Jim called at 8:30 on Thursday and arrived before 9:00. Jim was very friendly. I gave him a tour of all the projects and he started on the top floor and worked his was down. He replaced a broken U-trap, repaired a knob in a shower, replaced a faucet in the sink of another bathroom, replaced the shut-off valve to an exterior faucet, and replaced another exterior faucet. He had to order two parts and returned the next Wednesday to replace a drain pipe and install strainers in two sinks. I have used Winegar before and as before, I am pleased with the quality of the work. Everything is working and no messes left behind. I would definitely use Winegar & Son in the future.

Excellent! Jim arrived within the designated time, was polite and friendly, and answered all my questions. He also cleaned up his work area and was cognizant of not leaving dirt on our rugs. I would definitely hire this company again!!

I only gave the cost grade a B because we had never hired a plumber before and it was a bit more expensive then expected. 

Outstanding! Bernard was on time and made sure everything was done correctly, didn't leak and looked good. He was a pleasure to work with - same with the office staff I dealt with in setting up the appointment. We couldn't be happier.

Bernard was very professional and really very pleasant to work with.   They were supposed to come in the afternoon and did and gave us a 20 minute advance notice.  He assessed the situation with our 2 sinks and didn't try to sell me on a pricey fix like one prior plumber had done.  In this case the sink had unclogged itself after I ran the disposal a lot before he got here, but he was able to verify there weren't long-term problems with the sinks.  I had him look at our toilets which were  'ghost-flushing' and he replaced flappers.  Also had him look at our bathtub which backs up. He snaked that 15 feet as well.  The hourly price was reasonable compared to a prior plumbing company we used, particularly for the snaking.  He  was very nice
