The office staff and doctors are overly friendly. Their charge for standard braces is very expensive. When we left the office at 4 p.m., both doctors left at the same time and one of them got into a Mercedes SUV which costs $130,000! It is sooo obvious they over charge! When I called to speak with the doctor to see if they could negotiate a price, they tip toed around it and simply said if there was anything else they could do for me, to please call. The only thing they did for me was charge $250 for a consultation and x-rays!







The cost for the consultation and x-rays was not provided until they were being taken and the receptionist informed me.

They did a great job at a great price. I interviewed two other orthodontists with the 'bells and whistlesand quot;, and the Gillespies did the same job for a bit more than half the price of the others. We didn't need and quot;bells and whistlesand quot;, just braces.

It is run by two brothers. They do excellent orthodontia work. They don't take all insurances but when they take your insurance the price is very reasonable.

Excellent. As always, there's never a wait. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Drs. Gillespie are so good that we go out of network to use them. Had previously been with a large practice in Silver Spring/Bethesda and basically, where we never saw the doctor --- just technicians. At Gillespie and Gillespie, we ALWAYS get Dr. John or Dr. Bob. Love them!

Less than a year later my son has a beautiful smile. I plan to take my daughter in for a consult as she has some spacing issues with her permanent teeth.

We have found Dr. Gillespie and Gillespie and their staff to be very child-friendly, efficient, punctual and seem to be providing good care. We did not get cost estimates from any other orthodontist, so I can't compare the price. But they have been flexible about the timing of payments to help us use our flexible spending account.

I was very pleased with my daughter's treatment, and I have started orthodontic treatment for myself now.

We have been very pleased with Dr. John Gillespie. He is an excellent orthodontist. In addition, he is pleasant, efficient, and has an excellent manner with both children and adults. His office staff is very friendly and helpful.

Everyone was very happy with this dentist. We like his bedside manner and he seems extremely pleasant. Also, he is always on time.

Dr. Gillespie is very knowledgeable and prompt. There are no surprises with him. He is very honest. His staff is very professional and kind. It is very easy to get an appointment with him.

Dr. John Gillespie and his brother work together and do a great job. They are very professional and punctual for appointments. If you want advice, they give it to you straight. They both have great senses of humor and my kids loved them!
