Watts is an excellent, professional service that not only did mold remediation but also installed outdoor pipes so that water drains away from the house. Their work, including rebuilding and painting, was very good. I highly recommend them.

Lionel Watts is a master in his craft. His 30 years experience was what I prayed for. Had mold already mediated and spent thousands of dollars but the problem was still there. He was recommended by a home inspector who said he could get the job done and he did. I am sorry I didnâ t know him first. He came on time and was professional. Best thing of all was the mold test past. Really a nice guy also.

Lionel Watts is a true pro. His mold removal team did a top notch job. Having measured this repeatedly, I can attest to the fact that even four months after completing the job, the Watts team sharply reduced the humidity in our basement which produced the mold. Moreover, Lionel came by on multiple occasions afterwards for quality control purposes. He is a first rate professional and I would recommend him to anyone doing mold removal.

Mr. Watts was punctual on all three visits to my home: 1) Initial assessment 2) To do the work with his team consisting of two other workers 3) To collect his equipment after allowing the air vacuum to run over the weekend What separated Mr. Watts from the others were a few things: 1) He was the most thorough. He pointed out mold others didn't. 2) He gave me excellent suggestions to prevent future mold growth - including buying a second dehumidifier to put in an adjacent room. 3) He was the only person to take readings with instruments and show me what the readings were. 4) His price on par with the others, but his attention to detail separated him. I hope I don't have to use him again, but I would not hesitate to use him again. Forgot to mention that the basement smells MUCH better!

We had mold on our very nice wood furniture and sofa from a storage unit. Lionel scheduled us within days of our phone call to review the problem. He assessed the situation, gave us a quote. Within a weeks time all of our furniture looks great, upholstery was also cleaned. The price was very reasonable, they were very punctual, professional, friendly.

Mr. Watts is very knowledgeable about mold remediation, what causes it, how to remove it, and how to keep it from coming back. He is down to earth, explains what the problems are and what remediation steps are needed to resolve mold issues. I would recommend Mr. Watts and his crew to anyone dealing with mold and the problems it causes.

Mr. Watts was very thorough in his initial assessment of the damage and that made us hire him. However, we realized that he almost overcharged us almost 3 times than the other pros for the same job. Initially when I pointed this out, he ended up removing more drywall to justify the cost based on moisture reading levels. Later, I realized that basement without a dehumidifier would have higher moisture levels anyway and reading moisture levels by some "moisture reader/meter" is a flawed system to assess the water activity behind the walls. After talking to him, he decided not to take the third installment and offered to pay for sum pump and its installation in addition to it. At the end, we still ended up paying him almost 1.5 times the project cost and still looking to repair/ install dry walls at places where there was no need to remove them in the first place. Please do your proper homework and ask for project estimates from at least 4 different pros before hiring this pro. Again, for our part, we realized that some of the drywall removed were not even required to be removed as the foundation behind those walls was dry. So now we are looking for some unnecessary repairs that would cost us another $1000.

While I give credit to Lionel Watts for portions of the work that was done in the water remediation stage, the BUILD BACK / REPAIR has been a NIGHTMARE. Some examples of this include: __They did not properly treat/clean/prepare the floor prior to filling in the chunks of concrete ripped up when the previous flooring was removed __The missing chunks they did fill was with poorly mixed concrete resulting in a crumbly consistency __ They continually added this poorly mixed concrete to the top stair landing which then cascaded into my downstairs neighbors ceiling and continued to drip down their stairwell __Knowing that they damaged the stair bull nose in the rip out process, they still added concrete to this area resulting in the damaged stair nose to become even more difficult to remove, and likely to rip up more concrete and possibly neighboring stair/riser in the removal process. The damaged stair nose should have been removed before adding concrete. __They installed the wall separating the two condos without adding the insulation or the necessary wall behind it to hold the insulation in place. When I called them on this during the installation, the workers said they would do it later which makes no sense if you've just installed the brand new wall. After mentioning it to the lead supervisor a few times when communicating the various issues, he said but you don't really need it. ? Beyond the fact that this is right under a return and in a wall, that when removed led right into the upper part of the bedroom of my neighbor's unit, it was on the scope of work! Had I not been home to supervise, I would not have known until the project was complete that I could still hear my neighbors conversation/activities through one layer of drywall (that was also only painted with one coat and not two per the scope). __ They did not communicate throughout the job, leaving me to continually text them for status updates as well as at home a few times waiting for them for several hours beyond the scheduled arrival time. After raising the many issues multiple times with both Mr. Watts and his Build Back supervisor, I finally asked for a refund of the build back deposit as I now need to hire a reliable and knowledgeable contractor to redo the work to get back on track. It's been more than two months and I'm still living on a dusty, crumbly concrete floor, and my lungs hate me for it.

Mr watts, knows the business, and we agreed on the main problem, and diagnosis of were the incident occurred. Now we have to agree on a date and time to start the project.

Extremely gracious & polite, down to earth, which carried the day. Well qualified. Really there are more positive adjectives, just add your own favorites, and you will be on target. I am experience in hiring contractors, (former contractor that hires them more than monthly.)

Professional advise given on how to maintain home to avoid future mold problems, including circulation of air in basement area.

I believe that Watts Commercial Cleaning, LLC, wanted to do a professional job but, for many reasons, this was not my experience. (My job involved making repairs to my home following water damage caused by a plumbing problem. The firm was not involved in water removal or damage mitigation, only repairs.) Unfortunately, I had to cancel my contract with them after just the first phase of work, of three phases. The owner, Mr. Watts, is knowledgeable, but he was minimally involved in the actual work. His onsite manager never came to my home on the two days their worker was present. (The second day the supervisor had a personal emergency, which was unfortunate, but there was no one to step in and take over for him.) The onsite worker was a very hard worker and very professional, but he spoke minimal English and we had to resort to using the Google Translate app to discuss my concerns about the work he was doing. I believe, as Mr. Watts shared with me, that my experience was atypical for his company, which has received many great ratings on HomeAdvisor. And I give Mr. Watts 5 Stars for freely offering to return half of my deposit (which was all I had paid at the time I had them stop work). This was a very professional approach and speaks to the fair businessman he is.

After I got a mold inspection from an independent service, I sought estimates for mold remediation in my basement from several services. Mr Watts performed the inspection and estimate himself. He was very prompt, on time, and thorough in his assessment and gave me a very competitive price. It was not the lowest price I received but I felt that he would be more reliable and thorough in his work. On the other hand, some of the other estimates were 3 times as much as his and more intrusive than the independent inspector said was warranted. For instance, the higher priced services wanted to cut into walls and ceilings which should not have been necessary. At the time of the estimate, my basement was a mess with stored boxes, furniture, books, etc. After I removed much of the excess debris, I asked Mr Watts if he would be willing to revise his estimate since I had done so much work and he was willing to work with me. He even came to my house a 2nd time to see what I had done before adjusting his estimate. His crew performed the work efficiently and quietly over 2 days. They were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They cleaned up thoroughly. When I did a final walk-through with Mr Watts, I was very pleased with how thorough his crew had been without damaging walls or other things. While I wish I had taken steps to prevent mold sooner and this mold remediation work was not cheap, it was definitely worth the cost, under the circumstances. And now that I have a dehumidifier, I should not have any more mold problems. I would highly recommend Watts Commercial Cleaning.

When Mr. Watts came to my home to assess the problem and provide an estimate for damages caused by a bathroom pipe that had leaked sewage water into my basement, I was immediately impressed with him as a professional who is knowledgable about hazardous environmental factors that can develop when a sewage pipe in the home breaks or leaks. He made a thorough assessment of the problem, testing for obvious wetness and less obvious dampness, mold and extended contamination, and then, in his written and detailed proposal/estimate, specifically outlined a plan that included removal of the damaged carpet, rug, wood and affect plasterboard. With antimicrobial solutions, he and his crew thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned all involved surfaces, taking the utmost care when removing and disinfecting even the wood paneling. They were punctual, courteous, careful to protect unaffected areas, and knew what they were doing. Mr. Watts followed up after several days of "drying out" the room, and again tested to make sure that all surfaces were completely dry and mold-free. I hope I never have another broken pipe in my home, but if I did and the services required water mitigation treatment, I would absolutely call Mr. Watts. If I could give more than 5 stars to this review, I would!

Firstly, I was happy and impressed that Mr. Watts came out to our home to perform an accurate estimate. I previously had estimates performed by other contracting companies, who only sent laborers to take pictures of the damages with their cell phone and send the pictures to back to someone in the office in order to create a proposal. I prefer an estimator to review the job in-person in order to perform an accurate estimate. Mr. Watts was very patient with us in answering all of our questions related to the project. After we accepted Mr. Watts proposal, we were able to schedule the project to begin within a week. The scope of work included removing water-damaged laminate flooring, repairing any damaged overlay wood, remediation, and repairing water-damaged ceiling in the basement. Mr. Watts’ workers were very customer friendly, respectful, and worked efficiently. They covered vents and created plastic barriers over doorways to contain mold spores. The duration of the project was 4 to 5 days. I am highly satisfied with cleanliness after the job was completed. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family for both residential and commercial projects!
