Quality of work was unacceptable and he did not complete the work he and was not on time. His employees was unskilled day labors he found in the street at the time of the contract he presented himself as a professional business man with skilled workers that he employed. He walk of the job when received 90% of the his fees but never completed the work and the work that was complete was poor quality that we will have to redo.

Eric Sanders was unprofessional and difficult to work with from the beginning. For the first meeting he was 30 minutes late. His excuse was that he entered the wrong address in his GPS. Our project included some painting. He got paint on our clothing, curtains and carpet. When asked to clean up the mess he made a halfhearted attempt and I ended up doing it myself. He would never tell us when he planned to work on our project or which aspect he planned to work on each day even when asked directly. We had to email and call him multiple times any time we wanted to speak to him. When e-mailing, we repeatedly requested that he reply to both of us which he seemed constitutionally incapable of doing. We asked him to repair old boards on our deck and then stain. He never mentioned what the temperature limits would be for the work and so in December when asked when he would finish he surprised us by telling us it was too cold to work. When I looked up the temperature range I found it was between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. He did not share this information. Instead of contacting us when the weather changed and adding us to his queue, we had to contact him several times beginning in mid March. When he came to begin stating he had lost our key. We arranged to let him in, and he took a second key without permission. He then tried to tell us that he had already returned the first key. When we insisted he had not he eventually found the key, telling us it had been located in his sock drawer. He then tried to tell us that boards that were clearly damaged in the contract pictures had been damaged over the winter. Once he accepted the evidence of the photos, he agreed to make the repair. At this point I asked him if he would be able to finish the work by a specific date. He called me a dictator. We waited over 2 weeks, but he was unable to find the necessary materials. In that time at least twice he told us he planned to have the work done by a certain date supplied by him. When the date passed, and we asked again for a timeline he would give us another date and then miss that date too. Finally, we requested that our key be returned. At this point we had over paid for the work by over 500 dollars. We told him we needed the key by a 3 pm on the next day and that if he would leave it at his office with his receptionist we would come by to pick it up. He said he could return the key by the given time but couldnâ tâ leave it at his office. We asked him to return the key to my husbandâ s office receptionist (located a 5-minute walk from his own office) by the given time and he agreed. At 3:00 on the day he had agreed to return the key we had not heard from him. After 3 he said he would be by my husbandâ s office between 5 and 5:30 pm. At 5:45 he was not there. After attempting to contact him multiple times we finally managed, and he told us he couldnâ t tell his keys apart and didnâ t know which was ours. He wanted to stop by our house and try both. We finally had our key returned at 7:30 pm.

READ THIS! I am going to keep this unemotional and impersonal. We hired Mr.Sanders and Julian to do a tile install job for $25,000. There was a large mistake made in the tile pattern and after we identified the mistake to Mr.Sanders he and his crew never came back to our house. BEFORE HIRING this man contact the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and request information on disciplinary actions by emailing them. Disciplinary actions taken against a licensed contractor are a matter of public record. I would not hire this company to do anything. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
