Very prompt call back and scheduling.  Worked with my schedule.  Fair price and the rugs turned out beautiful.  I would definitely recommend using this company.

I called and Tim returned my call shortly afterwards.  We scheduled a date and time.  He called the day before to confirm, and showed up as scheduled.  He was very personable and explained everything.  He moved quite a bit of heavy furniture as required in one of the two rooms that needed carpet cleaning.  That carpet was badly stained, and Tim made multiple extra cleaning passes to totally clean it.  He took out an animal stain completely.  Both carpets were really a mess, but came out perfect after cleaning (except for wear from use, which obviously can't be solved by cleaning!).  The total job took 3 hours instead of 1 1/2 - 2 hours as projected, but Tim stuck with his phone quote.  He also took out a stain on a sofa cushion.  I can't imagine better service, a better price, better results, or a more pleasant  person to work with.  6 stars on a scale of 1 - 5.

Tim contacted the customer within an hour of our request, made the trip to her home the next morning, & removed the stain.  The customer was delighted.  Tim did an excellent job of staying in touch with us throughout the situation from start to finish.  Hopefully, we won't need to use them often, but we'll contact them first when we do.

Owner had previously cleaned some upholstered furniture for us and we were pleased with that work.  For this visit, our white bedroom carpet had some stains that had been in there for several years despite our own failed efforts to remove them.  We had moved everything but the bed out of the room prior to his visit.  When he arrived we asked if he would also do our hallway and stairs and he said he could for something like an additional $15 or so.  We happily agreed.  He spent less than an hour on the job and got all the stains out!  Even put the bed on sliders and moved it to get under it.  Plus, he is very pleasant and courteous.  Couldn't ask for more.

I contacted this company and they stated they would be there at 8:00 a.m. on February 16, 2012. He arrived promptly and work was completed within 1 1/2 hours. The cleaning made 15 year old carpeting look almost knew.  I would definitely use this service again in the futureMr

Based on reviews on Angie's List I contacted Shamrock Carpet and Upholstery cleaning.  The owner, Tim, responded to my call promptly, gave me a quote on the phone and scheduled a time for service.

Upon arrival Tim surveyed the areas to be cleaned and  I pointed out specific stains I wanted him to pay attention to.  He got to work right away and removed some stains that I didn't think he would be able to.  Our carpeting is 20 years old and looks great.

This was a good experience.  Very easy to do business with.  Fair price and a good job.  I will definitely use him again!

Tim did a wonderful job.  I called him and he called back that same day, gave me an estimate over the phone based on what I told him and assured me that the price might go down if the rooms were smaller than what he anticipated, but would not go up.  He worked with my availability, with was two weeks after we spoke.  He arrived, moved furniture, did a precleaning and then did the full cleaning.  The carpet looked wonderful when he was done.  I couldn't believe that he got all those stains out.  The price was very reasonable.  He couldn't move the furniture back, in order to let the carpets dry, but I expected that, having had carpets cleaned before.  We will use his service again and we highly recommend Shamrock.

I had a 2-week old white wine stain on my new sofa and a few (probably red wine) stains that were maybe 8 - 10 years old on some good living room furniture.  Tim came out and cleaned everything - got all of the stains out and left the fabric in beautiful condition.  I couldn't have asked for a better result.

We had had a really unsatisfactory experience with another vendor before turning to Angies List.  My husband called Shamrock, described the number of rooms we needed to have carpet-cleaned, and got a price over the phone.  It sounded good, and Shamrock came out within 10 days.  The whole job took just under 2 hours.  He was very nice, very clear in explaining what he would do, and what to expect.  We agreed first what should be moved, and he was quite willing to move everything himself.  Then he set to work, using a super vaccuum and then the shampoo and wet/dry vac.  I am very pleased with the outcome.  We will definitely call on Shamrock next time.

We moved into our house about 6 weeks ago not realizing the previous owners had dogs. I am allergic and have been suffering tremendously. Additionally, stains started coming up through the 13 year old carpets when the movers brought boxes in on a rainy day. In one room we had to rip the carpet out completely because I couldn't breathe, but the other rooms we hoped to clean instead of replace.
Enter Tim and Shamrock Carpet Cleaning. His price quote was excellent. $199 for all my remaining carpet. Can't beat that!
Tim moved all furniture out of the way and started vacuuming from the top. Then he cleaned everything within three hours using a deodorizing solution and the extraction method. One bad stain in the dining room he told me he thought it might still show and to call him back if it was too noticeable.
He also cleaned a small loveseat and ottoman that has always had a weird smell from the chemicals that were used to stain treated it. I was hoping he could get the smell out. Unfortunately not, but I have a sensitive nose. The couch is very clean though.
Overall, I am very happy. My old carpets are now presentable and I can tolerate them for a while longer.

They did an great job. They showed up on time, did what they were supposed to do, and the price was right. They provided excellent quality.

I think it took a day or two for Tim to respond to my first message.  However, he called me ahead of the scheduled time and arrived on time for the appointment.  Unfortunately, the apartment's elevator wasn't working, and he had to lug all his equipment around for a very uncomfortable length of time.  It's a good thing his demeanor was so even keel and professional.
Once he set up everything, he went to work & completed the job in ~90 minutes.  When we noticed a new stain, he worked hard to get it out.  He also had to reposition the sofa to put it back in the proper position, and he did so without complaint.
The previous sofa stains were removed, and everything looks good.  He cleaned my fairly large rug for only $30.
Tim is a consummate & competent professional, and I would use him again.

Tim was prompt, polite and very professional. He was neat, well-organized and efficient. The carpets look great and he made sure to protect all of the furniture. I would highly recommend Tim. Shamrock is obviously a small company, owner operated and Tim takes pride in his work and his reputation.

Tim was very considerate and accomodating. He called me twice on the day of the appointment. The first time was around 11:30 to confirm that he wouldn't arrive until arounf 2:30. He had previously given me a window between 1 and 3. At 2:20 he called stating he was on his way and should be at our residence within 15 minutes.

He arrived, introduced himself, and asked to see the areas we wanted cleaned. He quickly went to work cleaning the areas we had requested. 

I am very pleased with the results and would use him again.

Tim was great to work with!! He answered my request in a timely manner and was punctual and polite. His price quote was much less than others that I had received. I had pet and stains in two rooms of my home and Tim cleaned and deodorized the carpets. He assured me that if the smell and stains reappeared, that he would return to retreat them for free! I admire that level of customer service!He also removed a stubborn olive oil stain, where others have tried before,  from my living room carpet. Impressive!Will definitely use his services again.

Tim was there right when he said he would be and was very friendly and professional. My carpets look very good and I"m very happy with his service!

I called Tim and had to wait almost 2 weeks before I could get an appointment.  I think Angie's List has been very good for his business. He does all the work himself.  I explained how I wanted to do it in 2 stages so I could move my pets to different areas. He was fine with that and didn't charge me extra. When he arrived each time I showed him the areas to be cleaned. We talked about anything else that needed to be moved. Tim then vacuumed the area to be cleaned then deep cleaned the carpets. He wore booties to protect the carpets from footwear and offered them to me and my husband which was great. At the end he explained about some tought to clean spots then he said there is a 30 day guarantee.

He called ahead, was punctual and arrived on time.  He was meticulous and did a great job cleaning my carpets and sofa.  He gave us several pairs of booties to wear while the carpet dried which was extremely helpful.  I am very pleased with the work Shamrock did and will definitely use him again.     

Tim was wonderful.  Responed quickly with an estimate.  I scheduled a cleaning for 3 sofas, loveseat and oriental area rug.  Tim arrived at the scheduled appointment time.  He was very professional.  He wear protective foot wear and was cautious to keep the area clean and dry.  He performed the service within 90 mintues and the results were amazing.  We have 2 labs that love to sit with us on our couch and love seat and it showed.  When Tim left, the furniture was clean and smelt wonderful.  I will recommend him to my friends and family.  If you use Shamrock, you will not be disappointed.

My experience with this company was fantastic.  Tim was responsive from the start. When I called him I was able to get him on the phone right away and an appointment was scheduled in less than a week that fit perfectly with my schedule.  Prior to the day of the appointment I emailed Tim to add an additional room and he responded in less then 24hrs to this email.  On the day of the appt he called promptly to let me know when he would be at my house. Once here he did a thorough assessment of the area that needed cleaning.  I had a stubborn unknown stain that I could not remove that he was able to get off the carpet. He was polite and friendly. This was a great experience and I would recommend him to my friends and family for carpet cleaning services.
