They had to jackhammer up the concrete floor; make a connection that had never been installed for the basement shower to drain properly to the sewer line going out of the house, and close up the concrete again. They were quick, well-mannered, and did good work.

It was excellent. He was prompt and pleasant and charged me the bare minimum. I had used him previously to install a garbage disposal and replaced toilet components and I was very satisfied with him.

Lynn performed excellent work both times we've employed his services. He is punctual, professional and fastidious - something my wife greatly appreciates and expects from our contractors. His communications about what he will do and when are very clear. We found his advice to be informative and insightful.

I had just purchased my first home, and was informed that the existing water heater was non-functional and would need to be replaced. I first spoke with Lynn, the owner of Uneeda Plumbing, by telephone to inquire as to services offered, estimated cost, timelines, etc. Lynn was extremely informative and provided me excellent information with which to make my decision. Although I was considering a tankless unit, I settled on a 50 gallon gas-fired water heater, based on Lynn's recommendations (it's the same model he has installed in his house). I was surprised to find that Uneeda was open New Year's Eve, and was scheduling service calls. Lynn was supposed to arrive by 8am, but graciously called me to inform me that he would be a bit late. Overall the service was excellent! Lynn is a garrulous, amicable fellow and chatted with me while he worked. I was amazed by the fluidity with which he could switch between his conversation with me, to calling out measurements for Seamus (his assistant), and then jump back into a conversation. Lynn and Seamus worked quickly and efficiently, removing the old unit and installing the new one in less than 2 hours. They even swept up after themselves when they were finished! I am extremely pleased with the response time, the up-front cost information Lynn provided me with (including possible areas for overruns), the services rendered, and the final product. The installation was a little expensive, but it seemed to be in line with the three other plumbers I called for estimates. I'm confident Uneeda did an excellent job and my new water heater will last effectively for years to come! Given the quality of this service, I am almost certain to use Uneeda again for my future plumbing needs.

This level of service is what I have come to expect from UNEEDA. I have had them install new plumbing and gas hook ups for my kitchen remodel, installation of a laundry tub and faucet, connecting a new gas line and gas log when I converted my fireplace from wood to gas. I use them whenever I have a plumbing installation or repair. They have always performed excellent work with top quality components and reasonable prices. You may be able to find a company that will do work for less money, but they will not be able to match the quality or professionalism I have found with UNEEDA.

Timely and provided additional information about toilets, sinks, etc. Suggested options for future repair or remodeling, but never angles for additional work. Very pleasant. Ensured everything was working, and cleaned up well after job was done.

Spanky and his associate came over, fixed the leaks, put on a new shut-off valve, alerted meabout other possible trouble spots for future reference. I hope no one has to use a plumbervery often and we all know they aren't cheap. But if you do need one, I would go to Spanky.He sure know's what he's doing!

The contractor sent Spanky and Sherman to perform the service. The work was done in an old 9 story building on Connecticut Avenue new the Cleveland Park metro. They showed up on time and completed the work promptly. Both were very professional and friendly offering tips to deal with fixtures dating back to the 1940's (old condo building). I would definitately use them again for the next plumbing repair services.

Spanky and Sherman, who have worked together for a long time, arrived on time and with the right equipment to complete the job. Time spent was one hour. They left everything just the way they found it. Pleasant, professional and thorough!

Their service is excellent. They come when they say are going to come, and do what they say they are going to do. They are very pleasant people. They know what they are doing. They are no inexpensive, but they are good at what they do. They are responsive, punctual, and professional. Whenever I have a plumbing need, I call them.

After I realized that my broken trap and backed up utility sink were far beyond my skill level, I began calling plumbers. All of the companies I spoke with were very, very nice, but they all explained that they did not have much availability until after Thanksgiving. (One company told me that the week before Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas are their busiest times). As I'm having 6 guests for Thanksgiving and could not use my kitchen sink, washer, or dishwasher, I panicked and kept calling.

Uneeda's representative told me that their schedule was very busy today, but that she would call around to see if she could find someone who could squeeze my job in. Less than half an hour later, she called to say that Spanky and Sherman were on their way. Less than half an hour after that, Spanky and Sherman were at my door.

Spanky initially suggested that my disposal might be part of my problem (I was concerned that he was just trying to sell me a disposal), but after looking under the kitchen sink, he told me that I had a pretty good disposal. Since I have no knowledge of disposals, I really appreciated his candor.

They then went down to the basement and checked out the sink and pipes. An hour and fifteen minutes or so later, they had removed some rusty pipe (showed it to me to confirm the level of damage, replaced it, snaked the line twice, replaced the trap and the connecting pipes, and used some sort of final chemical clean out. Sinks works great.

Finally, Sherman carefully answered my questions about how to prevent problems like this in the future.

I could not have been more pleased- they squeezed me in between calls and did not act like they were doing me a favor. They got things done quickly, cleaned up, and left me more informed than I was when they arrived. Prompt, professional, and helpful.

Great job with top notch water heater. Performed everything on time and completely. Even told me he could repack a faucet instead of replacing it. Saved me about $100.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Let me know how they charge (in house, first hour, subsequent half hour costs) and what the estimate would be for the kitchen faucet. Recommended where to buy a faucet (on line). Only two choices of toilets, since that's what they use, but the toilets had good ratings. The cost for the toilet included labor - set price. Based on what I saw online, the cost to install seemed to be about 50% of the flat price (given the time it took them to install). I didn't compare with other plumbers, so I don't know if this was low, average or high -- probably average based on their labor cost. The plumbers arrived on time, as scheduled. They were very professional and completely cleaned up after they were done. The lead plumber made several recommendations regarding the bathtub. I would definitely use them again.

They were wonderful and responsible. They were prompt, nice and honest. They came on a Saturday and worked four to five hours to clear the whole thing. They came back again because they weren't satisfied and did it again. It was a big job than any of us realized. Their cost was reasonable and interested in getting the work done.
