Michelle took beautiful portraits of the dogs and people with their dogs. She really produced natural portraits (i.e., not posed) rather than event type photos but it worked out great and enhanced the event experience. (We had enough amateurs taking the "scenes around the event" photos.) The photos were beautiful, captured the dog's personalities and the dog owners very moved by the pictures. Since she was doing this on a voluntary basis to help the rescue, she did not push selling the prints; in fact she only communicated it when dog owners started asking about getting them. I myself ended up purchasing several prints. They arrived promptly and look terrific. I highly recommend her for natural looking portraits.

I ordered one of Michelle Zak's 2014 Rescue Calendars. A co-worker had one these gorgeous calendars and I asked her about it and when I heard that all of the photographs are of dogs that have been rescued and are in foster care, shelters or in their forever homes, it just made my heart glad. A percentage of each calendar goes to shelters and rescue. I think you can tell how excited I was about the caliber of the photography in the calendar and the lovely quotes and tips that are on the various days by the fact that I purchased a 2014 calendar in the middle of the year. I will keep this lovely calendar long after 2014 is over.

She took candid photographs of the dogs at this event. She captured the spirit of three of my dogs, so of course I wanted images. I got two 11x17s on canvas and a 10x12 (approximately) print. I put N/A for price because I have no idea what the going rates are.
Michelle is very warm and kind and really loves dogs! She was easy to work with, the dogs responded to her, and she was flexible about arranging delivery.
