They do a good job and I recommend them. The technicians are professional, courteous, and prompt on repairing the car.

This was my second time going here for an oil change. I will not be going back: even if I have to pay more elswhere, it will be worth it just for the basic customer service experience. Each of the 5 staff people I interacted with lacked basic interpersonal skills. The guy who checked me in didn't speak audibly. The tech who told me how the service went didn't even make eye contact with me... I had to guess that it was me he was trying to speak to. The 2 girls at the front desk must have been unpaid interns because I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would pay them to sit there and giggle and scoff at paying customers. The manager who witnessed the girls' rudeness to a simple request I made said nothing. What a yucky experience. I was very angry by the time I left and no one seemed to care.

It is an excellent service facility. I have had about four Honda's I have taken there and they have always taken care of me.

This dealership was the exclusive service provider for our 2009 Accord since we bought it new. In 2012 we had a specific issue with the engine that eventually led to a class action lawsuit and settlement. Instead of stepping up to fix the issue when the settlement was reached in 2014, this place assured us our car wasn't one of the vehicles affected by the problem. Fast forward to 2017 and the same error code pops up again. Honda of Annapolis tells us it's not that issue, it's something else. They refused to even try to get Honda NA to pay for the fix and offered a different service. We got a diagnosis from a private repair shop, who said the only error code showing up is the one that prompted the lawsuit. They refused to perform the service Honda of Annapolis offered us because it wouldn't fix the issue. We went to another Honda dealership. They too told us the only error code was the lawsuit code. They weren't surprised to learn of our difficulties getting Honda of Annapolis to step up and fix this. I tried one last time to get this place to make this right. I spoke with the service director, David Tennant, for 20 minutes. During that time he failed to make any effort to own up to the problem, constantly interrupted and spoke over me, and flat out refused to address the warranty issue they neglected to address or inform us of in 2012. If you buy a Honda, don't get it from Annapolis. If you must have it serviced, drive the extra 10-20 minutes to the next closest place. One star is too many. This place is garbage.

The servicemen at Honda of Annapolis are really good. I can make an appointment online and then go in and they have everything done within the hour. I have never had an issue with them and will definitely use them again.

I think they have one of the best customer service areas; hey have Wi-Fi and offer snacks. Scheduling is good and they're good about explaining needed service and will take you out into the back of the shop. They offer pick-up and drop-off service and loaners and will take you to the Annapolis Mall.

Went into Honda of Annapolis (HOA) dealership after seeing a and quot;sweetheartand quot; deal on their internet site that was better than the one I had already lined up with CarMax/Laurel. When I got there, the internet teaser car was already sold, even though it still showed up on their website as available (and I have now read elsewhere that this bait-and-switch trick is common at HOA).
They talked me willingly into a new car that was near the CarMax price for a used one of the same make and model. Paperwork was a chore, and there was the high-pressure selling of an extended warranty that was only mentioned while signing the financing paperwork; the sales person never mentioned it -- there were 4 choices that we were shown a single piece of paper comparing them, with no details of what was excluded from coverage. Whatever... signed up for the cheapest one, read the details when I got home and canceled it the next day.
When the sales guy handed us the keys and shook hands, we were supposed to drive away in our brand new car and live happily ever after, become repeat customers and have all our car work done in the dealer shop. Except, that now that they had dried off the rain, I immediately saw a ding in the front right fender and had to point it out to the sales person who at first couldn't see it. I then walked around the car under their lot lights, as the process had taken until dark, and found two more scratches. The sales person quickly stopped arguing and wrote them up to be fixed in three days, when their body guy comes in. What I did not know is that by making us wait those days, we lost our legal right to tear up the contract. They have a full service center, so why do they hire and quot;some guyand quot; to do this work?
Anyways, we drop off our new car on Wednesday night, so the fixes can be done on Thursday. We don't even get an loaner car offered, so we have to get up early to get everyone to work on Thursday morning. We pick up the car on Thursday evening and the three things we found were fixed. The car was wet from having just been washed, which also hides scratches very well. We find two fingerprints of some gummy substance in the middle of the hood and more of this stuff on the right headlight... HOA did not notice this, AGAIN WE had to show it to them. They sprayed some solvent on the hood and it wiped off after some rubbing.
We think all is well, drive home and park out other car behind the new car. The headlights immediately showed another scratch on the bottom of the rear bumper -- either we missed it he first time or they scratched it in their lot. We take it back the next day and this blonde weasely person with an eastern European accent comes out and starts shouting that he personally checked the car after the repairs and was 100% sure there was no scratch and that we must have done it. When asked why he didn't see the goo on the hood, he just repeated his BS mantra. Things go downhill with this kind of aggressive negativity and the best part is when he, for some psycho-reason, brags that he makes a ton of money selling cars to and quot;people like youand quot; but still isn't going to fix the scratch.
In hindsight, I should have gone with the CarMax people who, from my experience, will show YOU any defects so you aren't disappointed, and the last car I bought from them lasted 12 years without problems. Also, there are many other Honda dealers in the area and we almost drove to the other side of DC to Herson's in Rockville, MD, who had six of these cars on their lot (including colors that we wanted - HOA only had a single black model, despite their website), and Herson's offered to throw in a full set of mats and cargo area cover -- I was just too lazy to drive there in afternoon rush hour.
Also, there are several reviewing websites that show HOA has about 3/5 starts while their competition have 4/5 or 4.5/5 stars. THAT should have been my biggest clue to avoid these losers. I don't work at any other dealership and this was the first new car I have ever purchased.
HOA will never get another nickel in service, parts, accessories, or repeat-business from me. Scraping their logo off the tailgate with my fingernail (without ANY scratches) and dumping their ugly license plate holder in the recycling bin was a final goodbye to these cretins.
Latest Update:
Check the piece of paper you are first given by the sales rep, the one with the written price offer (after all that hand-wringing by the very nice manager) and look closely at the mileage on it, to compare against the actual odometer mileage. Our and quot;brand new carand quot; showed 0 miles on all the paperwork, right up until we signed the papers; then it suddenly jumped to 56 miles! During test ride the sales person fiddled with the odometer to show us some spiffy MPG features but claimed he didn't really understand how it worked, so we missed the 56 when/if it flashed by.
Aside: Ask anyone at Honda of Annapolis why the Better Business Bureau has given them a grade of 'F' (for FAIL).
Just found out that even if you cancel the worthless extended warranty less than 12 hours after signing, the cancellation will not be processed for 4-8 weeks! Your loan papers get to Honda Finance the next day, but they drag their feet on submitting any refund paperwork. The full amount of all the extended warranty payments will be tacked onto your total loan, even though they tell you that you only pay it month-by-month. In addition to paying an extra $25-$125 each month for the worthless warranty (for YEARS) you will also be accumulating interest on the total amount of all those payments. You can't cancel it with Honda Finance, only via the dealer. So, even if you pay off the car the next day (including paying the full price of the canceled extended warranty) you won't get a refund OR YOUR LIEN-FREE TITLE for a couple of months!

It was fine. They were little on the high side but they were okay. They get us in and get us out. Their prices are a little bit high but they don't really make stuff up that we don't need. I knew it was going to be pricey.

They are excellent. They take my car the next day itself after I call them or whatever I want, but they always have an opening for me. I don’t have to make an appointment a week later since I can get stuff done.

It was a really good experience. We were in and out of there and there was no hassle and it was very good. We purchased a used car and I felt I got a really good deal and the salesman was knowledgeable about the car and handled everything professionally and appropriately.

They have a great new service facility there. They typically have same day service. We will continue to go here for work in the future.
