They did an emergency water testing for us. We were having a house sale help up because we did not get a certain water test done. They came out at 5 in the afternoon and grabbed the water sample and had everything done by the nest day so we could close the deal on time. That was awesome.

The company we went with was very professional.

Overall, I was not satisfied with the conversation with the sales person. He did not come across as knowledgeable and informed as I would have expected. My thought was that if the sales person was not on top of his game, then how could I trust the installers and repair persons, if needed?

We met Mike, a Hague representative, at a home show in December. We were waiting to settle on a new-to-us home in late December. Mike was very personable and informative. He knows his product. The home had a Culligan system in it, but it wasn't functional and had not been used in quite some time. I have been a and quot;suburban boyand quot; all my life and was new to well water and water softeners. Mike talked to us for quite a while explaining their product and why they feel it is superior to Culligan systems. I liked what he had to say and found his side-by-side comparison of the two systems very informative. I held on to his card. After we purchased the home, I had the Culligan representative come by. The short version was that the system in the home was 15-20 years old and if their techs came out and got it running again, there were no guarantees on the unit or their work. If I was going to use Culligan, a new system would probably be the best route. I wasn't ready to spend the money at that time, so I never moved forward with them. (I will say the local Culligan rep is very personable and helpful also.) When I was ready to spend the money, I contacted Hague to have Mike come out and give me a price and survey. The office was very easy to deal with. Mike came right on time and was just as helpful and personable as he was at the show. He is not a high-pressure sales person. He wants to provide the right products at a fair price. He answered all our questions and was very thorough. I went with their lease-to-own option to get it done now and reduce immediate, upfront cash outlay. Their service/install folks are very quick and flexible. I was going away for a week, so actual install was about 10 days after we spoke with Mike. I liked the fact that the company is owned by a retired, Air Force officer. Mike mentioned that their installation process is very checklist oriented. I told him that's a good thing. Having retired from the fire service, checklists help ensure safety and things don't get overlooked. The techs showed up on time and were very friendly. They asked about where things should go even though Mike's drawings and plans had been reviewed. Double check. They were careful to protect floors and carpet with covers. They were very respectful of our home. The way things were installed were the way I would do it if I had done it myself. Nothing was just and quot;slappedand quot; up. Lines, pipes and cords were placed with care and forethought. One tank showed up without all the fittings, but they worked with their office and other field personnel to coordinate getting the parts brought closer without having to go all the way back to the office. They went to take care of another job while the parts were enroute, but the system was up and running before they left. Another office member brought a whole new tank set-up and after I ran an errand, the tech returned to complete the whole package. No real inconvenience at all. Once the final part came, checklist time for the howeowner. System operation lesson and information. Installation review and check. I would say flawless and without complaint! System has been running about a week now. No problems and don't expect any. Although the tap water was clear and quite drinkable without a sytem in place, there was a noticeable improvement in clarity at the taps and I think the ice in the refrigerator is even more clear (and it has a filter built-in). I would absolutely recommend Hague Water Quality and their personnel! Mike is top shelf! I feel that their product is superior to their competitor's and the price is comparable.

During the initial review of our needs we ordered the water softener system as well. However after a cost benefit analysis review we decided not to get the softener system since our water is soft and the cost of maintaining the system and the additional hardware would take up too much space. We already have a PH treatment system which I installed and maintain. After the successful installation, which was done very well, we had our water tested again by Chesapeake Environmental and we are completely satisfied with the quality of the equipment,installation and Hague's service

I hired Ron Edwards to evaluate the water quality in a house with consistently high iron in the well water and openly told him that other water companies had failed. He was very professional in his manner and evaluated the problem. He guaranteed that if he installed a and quot;double systemand quot; it would provide us with 1000 gal/day of clean water. The first two install attempts were incompetent, with leaking pipes in our basement, iron-stained water all over the floor, etc. Finally, they managed to install the system wtihout leaks. We then had several months of and quot;iron-nightmare,and quot; far worse than our previous system, with iron breaking through the Hague system, staining our clothes, our plumbing, etc. Ron agreed in writing to take back the system and refund our money. Although I accepted his offer, he never made good on it. I tried to arbitrate through the BBB. His lawyer negotiated a settlement wherein they would give a partial refund. They never made good on that either. It sounds like he would rather have my money than his integrity. His lawyer has threatened to sue me for slander if I tell this story in public. However, the truth is usually a good defense against a slander suit.

I purchased a home that already had Hague water softeners and filters installed, but I had a very hard time reaching one of the reps to tell me more about the program/costs/benefits until I said I didn't want the systems and they were going to lose a sale. Then the rep told me he was offering me a 'deal' off the full price to keep the current equipment - which was used! They were reasonable and let us try the system for a while to see if we would like to keep it, but in spite of the water softener claims we still had hard water stains in our bathrooms. The technicians were VERY sloppy when removing the equipment and in addition to getting water all over the carpet, they left the tiled entry way very wet and my partner slipped when trying to enter and inspect the job. Get a Brita filter instead!

My existing water softener started leaking. It was over 15 years old. I called two companies to get estimates. The first company promptly visited my home, quoted $1200 plus labor, and an installation date of a week later because they did not have the parts in stock. Hague also visited my home about an hour later, quoted $3200 plus labor. After some discussions with the sales manager we determined a less costly unit was suitable and available at $1400 plus labor. Hague had the materials in stock and was able to install it the next day which was Saturday. The more expensive unit was impressive in that it could solve a combination of water problems, such as lime, iron,sulfur, bacteria in one compact unit! Since my water issue was simply limited to excessive lime, a less sophisticated unit was fine.The installer was very pleasant and knowledgeable and his workmanship was neat and well laid out. I think Hague is a good company and I will use them for future work.

The person who came to test my water was very professional, prompt, and very neat. He also had a vast knowledge of what he was doing. I will use this company in the future.

They always contact me when it's time to do a servicing - they come promptly when called. Service is fine. My only complaint is that once they disposed of the "media" in my garden (which looks like weeds - not garden).

When I first moved into my new house and went to take a shower, I came out to look at my hair and noticed it had turned completely green. Well, natural or not, we needed to do something about getting this water perfectly clean from all matter, so we called on Accurate. They came out, tested the water, and advised us about the best products we could use to have installed and take care of the problem. After installing the systems we have nothing but the best water, and we are grateful to them for both their professionalism and their prompt service. I am very happy to recommend them to others.
