|This is now the fourth time I have had work done by Kevin in the last six years on two different properties and have been satisfied and impressed each time by the speed and professionalism of his, and his team's, work.

We got multiple contractors to give us estimates. Most took a quick glance around and gave us a number. Kevin took his time. He crawled around under the house, tracing the piping for quite a while. Then he showed us exactly why the front of the house was far too hot and the back ouf the house was too cold.
He was grinning the whole time he was working, not because it was going to be an expensive job but because he was enjoying the challenge that it would be to fix the sytem as a whole and make it right.
He worked very h****** the project and has very high quality standards. He took special care to make sure that our cats didn't get into the dirt basement and make it a gigantic litterbox. They are always alert for any chance to get through the basement door.
He wasn't the cheapest but we are very happy with our high efficiency system. We continue to use him for the annual check-ups.
We absolutely recommend him.

Since it was July, and since I was by far not the only person on Cape Cod with air con problems, I suggested to Kevin that anytime before the end of the summer was fine by me for replacing the heating system, which I believe was the larger job. As it turned out that work was finished in August, on time and like the air con work to a high standard of neat and tidy installation.
In the course of checking with others and with other options, one of the ideas I came across was that when replacing heating and air con systems, choosing the right contractor is more important than choosing the right brand of equipment. In my case, the brand Kevin installed was Carrier, but that was not an important factor to me. These days there are a lot of options, some quite sophisticated and expensive, in smart heating and air con systems. My house is a smaller place (about 1500 sq feet to be heated and cooled). After reviewing various more expensive options, we decided on the package I chose (described above) based on what was really necessary for me. I could have spent a lot more -- 12 to 14K -- and would have had smart receptors all over the house controlling what was going on, and would have achieved thereby an even greater gain in efficiency (and perhaps bragging rights), but for my needs the choices made seem about right. While it is too soon to tell exactly, I think my new air con system is indeed saving me some money on electricity. And, as I write this in mid-October it is even more difficult to know the gas heat efficiency of the new system, still it seems to be there too.
Overall, I am fully satisfied with the information, service, installation and prices provided by Kevin and his crew. Kevin seems like a direct, friendly, responsive and effective person when it comes to heating and air con work.
