The job went very well. Kevin and his team arrived on the predetermined day. They set up the new system first and when it was ready, the electrician came a couple of days later to get the electrical work established.  They did a great job, showed up early and very kindly worked their way through the items that I had unknowingly stacked in front of the electric box (never thought about needing access to that!).  A few days later, Kevin and his excellent team returned to finish up the connections and remove the old system.  We were left with a clean job and a really great heating system.  We've been very happy with the outcome so far and are looking forward to seeing our next gas bill - it should be much reduced from last year's bill!

Kevin has always been quick to respond, professional and efficient. When he installed the new gas heater, he discussed with us our different options and gave his recommendation. Then he installed it quickly and made sure we got our rebate. On the occasions where we have had questions about gas issues, ie. worries about leaks from our stove, etc, Kevin has always been thorough and reassuring, whether he was able to resolve the problem over the phone or needed to come to the house. Recently Kevin came and gave us an estimate on putting air conditioning in our home and he was quick to get that back to us.

Job was completed in time frame provided. As noted above quality of work was EXCELLENT.

This work was done not for me but for a friend who owns a condo but lives off Cape; since I live nearby, I helped resolve this problem. Her renter told me late on Saturday November 9 that the condo's Rinnai gas-fired wall furnace was not producing heat. This happened during the first cold snap of the season, a time when many discover heating problems. In this case it was not a complete surprise since Kevin Saunders of Seaside Gas had overhauled the furnace the year before and although he got it to work fine for the 2012 heating year, he warned it was on its last legs, given its age (over 11 years). Fortunately the condo has backup electric heat, but Kevin was able to come by Monday the 11th and take a look. By the morning of Wednesday the 13th, even though he was strung out with many "heat emergency" customers (which we were not since there was backup electric heat), Kevin had a new unit from the distributor procured, installed and  producing heat! Effectively Kevin had diagnosed and solved the problem within 48 hours at the height of the high-demand heating season. This was a relief for all concerned including the renters, who were about to go on vacation and were worried about problems while they were gone. Before they left they sent us a nice letter thanking us for the quickness of the service and the quietness of the new unit.

|This is now the fourth time I have had work done by Kevin in the last six years on two different properties and have been satisfied and impressed each time by the speed and professionalism of his, and his team's, work.

Kevin installed a new furnace and a central air conditioning system for us. He was a pleasure to work with and was always on the job doing the work. He is very knowledgeable and precise with his workmanship. I would highly recommend him.

When we moved to Cape Cod, we bought a very old house.  The heating and piping system was old and poorly designed.  The electric water heater was sized too large and was costing us an arm and a leg.
We got multiple contractors to give us estimates.  Most took a quick glance around and gave us a number.  Kevin took his time.  He crawled around under the house, tracing the piping for quite a while.  Then he showed us exactly why the front of the house was far too hot and the back ouf the house was too cold.
He was grinning the whole time he was working, not because it was going to be an expensive job but because he was enjoying the challenge that it would be to fix the sytem as a whole and make it right.
He worked very h****** the project and has very high quality standards.  He took special care to make sure that our cats didn't get into the dirt basement and make it a gigantic litterbox.  They are always alert for any chance to get through the basement door.
He wasn't the cheapest but we are very happy with our high efficiency system.  We continue to use him for the annual check-ups.
We absolutely recommend him.

The problem was first detected during a heat wave in late June. It was then that Kevin did the testing described above. I took a couple of (very hot) days to check my options and talk to a few people, and then decided to go ahead with the plan described above -- replace both the air con and heating systems. Since it was so hot out, I wanted the air-con work done "yesterday" and insofar as he was able, Kevin and his crew (all seemed clean-cut, efficient, punctual young men) took out the old air con and installed the new by the 4th of July, a time frame I considered very responsive to my needs.
Since it was July, and since I was by far not the only person on Cape Cod with air con problems, I suggested to Kevin that anytime before the end of the summer was fine by me for replacing the heating system, which I believe was the larger job. As it turned out that work was finished in August, on time and like the air con work to a high standard of neat and tidy installation.
In the course of checking with others and with other options, one of the ideas I came across was that when replacing heating and air con systems, choosing the right contractor is more important than choosing the right brand of equipment. In my case, the brand Kevin installed was Carrier, but that was not an important factor to me. These days there are a lot of options, some quite sophisticated and expensive, in smart heating and air con systems. My house is a smaller place (about 1500 sq feet to be heated and cooled).  After reviewing various more expensive options, we decided on the package I chose (described above) based on what was really necessary for me. I could have spent a lot more -- 12 to 14K -- and would have had smart receptors all over the house controlling what was going on, and would have achieved thereby an even greater gain in efficiency (and perhaps bragging rights), but for my needs the choices made seem about right. While it is too soon to tell exactly, I think my new air con system is indeed saving me some money on electricity. And, as I write this in mid-October it is even more difficult to know the gas heat efficiency of the new system, still it seems to be there too.
Overall, I am fully satisfied with the information, service, installation and prices provided by Kevin and his crew.  Kevin seems like a direct, friendly, responsive and effective person when it comes to heating and air con work.
