Our basement sewer pipe has clogged before and we always call John's. They do a great job and are very responsive, no matter what time of day. We have used them and referred them out to our neighbors.

Our bath tub drain got clogged and wouldn't drain. I have seen their vans on my way to work and decided to call them - wasn't sure if i can get someone as it was a sunday. They did answer and sent someone within an hour. They just used the power tool to unclog the shower drain - ofcourse hair. I thought the price was a bit steep, but considering it was a sunday and they were able to send someone within an hour, i guess it was worth it. I will use them again if needed.

I contacted john sewer on Sunday night and they showed up Monday morning . They gave me timeframe between 11-1 and they showed up at 1215. The tech snakes my kitchen sink drain. It took him about an hour and he told me it was a real bad clog. I tried snaking it myself before calling anyone but had no luck. The total cost for the service was 135. I called roto rooter first in Sunday and they showed up and wanted to charge me 399. I thought that was a ridiculous price and I sent them away. I would definitely recommend john sewer & drain for anyone with blocked pipes!

The shower had been draining very slowly. Two showers in the morning would leave two inches of water in the bathtub. Tub would drain very slowly, taking up to 3 or 4 hours to empty that water.
I called two days prior to service. Phone tech offered my an appointment the next day but I was unavailable. Schedule a time for me the day after that.
Jason arrived on time (maybe even 5 minutes early) this morning. He spent about 30 minutes between set up, working with the power snake to clear it out, and reloading his van. Drain flowed faster than prior to the clog, and I was still able to get to work on-time myself.

The nice field tech tixed our slow-draining bathroom sink after our many unsuccessful attempts at snaking and drano-ing. He also happened to swoop in and save the day while my husband was tinkering with an unrelated plumbing issue that went awry while the guy was working on the sink. Talk about lucky timing! John's Plumbing arrived on schedule same-day, the service was professional & competitively priced - will call again! (But I hope I don't need to)

We were very happy with the services provided by John's Sewer and Pipe Cleaning. We were given a 2-hour time window for when to expect the person to arrive, and the technician, Lawrence (spelling?) showed up right on time at the beginning part of that 2-hour window. He did the inspection, answered our questions about the condition of the sewer drain (which was original to the 1928 house), identified areas that had some tree root growth that needed to be addressed, and also provided other relevant information, such as the length of the sewer pipe for future reference when the drain would need to be cleaned and identified an area where some of the drain pipe had been replaced with PVC as well. The service also included a DVD of the inspection which was not just a capture of the video feed but included Lawrence's comments as well. So at the end, we got a nice summary from him about areas of concern, a video capture that supported his comments, and were able to move forward with our home purchase with more confidence that the sewer drain was in decent shape.

Fri - Came at time promised and promptly flushed the drain. We noticed shortly after they left that the drain was now leaking. We called and they said they would sent someone back the next
Sat - The same employee returned to fix the leak. He finished the work and left without comment. We noticed that the drain immediately started leaking again. We called and they said they would send someone on Monday.
Mon - Unannounced, a different employee, arrived. He said they SHOULD have called. He promptly fixed the leak and left.

We used John's Sewers many times over the past few years with various drain issues. They are always professional, prompt, and very informative. On this occasion, the kitchen sink was backed up, while preparing thanksgiving food the night before thanksgiving. It happened around 1030 PM, and the drain was cleared up and we were back to finishing our thanksgiving side-dished by 1130 PM.

Our basement bathroom was blocked up and we had waste coming up into our toilet and shower. I called John's Sewer at 6AM. Someone answered the phone straight away, took the details and said someone would call me back. They called me back around 7AM and said someone would be there between 8 and 10AM. The technician arrived shortly before 9AM. He identified the problem area straight away and the blockage was cleared by 10AM. He also minimised the mess which I was greatly appreciative off given we had just finished the basement. The technician was polite and knowledgeable. I was extremely impressed with the service and will most certainly call them again should I have problems in the future.

The drain for the bathroom tub on the 1st floor started backing up in the morning. Called John's Sewer and Pipe Cleaner in the morning and was told that they would be here within 3 hours. About an hour later he showed up and cleared the tub drain and ensured there was no build up down in the basement. Within 30 minutes we were good to go.

Contacted John's Sewer & Pipe Cleaning when a backup between our house and septic tank reoccurred for the second time within four years. They arrived within 2 hours, completed snaking the blockage and left with an hour and a half for the quoted $184. We are completely satisfied with this work.

Both my sinks in the kitchen were clogged up. I called this company early in the morning and they responded immediately.
They said tht someone would be there within the hour. The worker came within 45 minutes.
He was polite, efficient and a true professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again, in the future.

We had a bit of a water explosion in the basement when we were running the washing machine. Our plumber suggested it might be a main drain clog. Sure enough, when the Drain technician showed up he found massive roots growing in the drain. Within less than an hour the drain was cleared, he sent a camera down the pipe and gave us a CD of the inspection. All the drains in the house suddenly worked perfectly (they had been a bit slow prior to this repair.)

We had an issue with our septic system, but were not sure what the actual problem was.We called, and a technician came out that evening, in the time window promised, and helped us figure out what the problem was and recommended someone to fix it.

Service person arrived 30 minutes in on the 2-hour window. He was done diagnosing and cleaning the drain within 45 minutes of arrival. I especially appreciated that he was diligent in avoiding tracking in dirt and snow from outside when entering the house. Before the contractor left, we thoroughly tested the drain line to my full satisfaction, and the line is still clear 3 months later.

John's Sewer & Pipe Cleaning ripped us off with the unnecessary use of a fiber optics camera. Subsequent to their services we had other plumbers come in a bid on a job to replace the pipe, all indicated that based on the overflow of sewage at one end, no camera was needed to diagnose the problem. As for the $208 to snake our pipe - it took the gentleman 25 minutes to do the job. The remainder of the time he waited for his colleague to arrive with the camera. $208 for 25 minutes of labor hardly sound like a fair price. We asked John's Sewer to bid on the job to replace our sewer pipe. After the initial $500 visit they indicated that they needed to come out to the property to adequately diagnose the issue. We told them that they have a video tape of the entire pipe and two people were already at our house; why the need to have someone else come out? They could not answer the question to our satisfaction. In short we feel that we were over charged to get our pipe rotor rooted and John’s Sewer performed an unnecessary and costly procedure that any licensed plumber could have diagnosed without the use of a fiber optic camera. We told them not to come and give us a quote and we wouldn’t be using their services ever again.

I had a few good experiences with them. They were very good. They were professional, thorough, they did a good job and their price was reasonable. I did call them once to come to my new house, but they never returned my call. I had spent around $300 on that work. I would recommend them to other members.

Excellent overall; everyone was courteous and professional from the phone estimate to the technicians, they called to inform of the time and they would arrive in advance. Customer service is excellent, the technicians were courteous, professional, knew their work, through and were efficient. I would use them again.

We had a very good experience with this contractor. Scheduling was quick and the work was done on time and very well. The two technician who came out were very experienced, professional and personable. They were also willing to answer questions and made recommendations for keeping our system clear. We will most likely use them again when this maintenance is due.

We asked for John's to come over and give us an estimate on changing some pipework for our faucets. After he had given us an estimate we asked him to check out our septic tank. He agreed, took a look and told us that we needed to get it pumped. We agreed and he called someone to pump it. He sat in his truck for an hour and when the tank was pumped he took a look. At no point did he say that he would be charging us for an estimate. After he finished he charged us $150 for taking a look inside the tank. I can only assume he charged us for the time he spent sitting in his truck because he didn't give us an invoice. Very unprofessional behavior. If you are going to charge for something you express how much it is going to cost before you do it.
