Great! Keith recommended a product he has installed many times. It was ordered and delivered as estimated. Keith installed on the day he said he would; he finished the install quickly and we have a much improved deck.

They are very nice to deal with and pricing is fair. The particular brand of window that they carry is the Harvey windows and the installation was very well done and they were friendly.

Pricing was very reasonable. We were very pleased with it. The only issue was the company was in transition when I called them due to a loss in their family. So there was a little bit of a delay in getting the work done and answering our calls. But, other than that I would use them again. They seem to be more straightened out now. They have someone to answer the calls now. I would recommend them to somebody else.

Keith was very responsive and professional. His quote was in line with others I had received. They had to order the materials but his estimate on when the work could be completed was in line with what happened and he called me 2 days before to schedule the work.  The job only took 1 day and he had one person with him, they worked quickly, quietly and cleaned up after.  All the trim around both the door and window was replaced and looks great.  I would definitely recommend them in the future.

After recovering from the sticker shock price quote from Renewal by Ander.., I found Wilmington Door and Window by a recommendation from Jeff Fisher of Waltham.  I originally wanted to hire Jeff Fisher from Waltham,(because he is highly rated on Angie's list) but when I called him, he told me that he was unable to handle my job, for whatever reason. However, Jeff recommended to me to call Wilmington Door and Window.
Worked out well, cause WDW are located in the next town over from me.  Gave Keith a call and he quickly returned my  call.
We set up an initial meeting, Keith showed up on time. Quick assessment of the job, and we agreed on the deal.  The price is 60% less than Anderson.  Keith said he uses Harvey Windows.
Six weeks went by, and as of today (Dec 29) the Bay Window has been replaced.  I am extremely happy with the window. Quality is excellent. I highly recommend Keith of  Wilmington Door & Window.
I will certainly be using them again, in the spring.

This is your ideal well-run family business.  Les and his sons were awesome with the job they did - other than the new windows, you'd never know that they had been there (no mess, no trash, etc.).  Fair prices, reliable service and wonderful people to work with.
I was sorry to hear that Les passed away about a year ago.  He was a very nice man.  His sons have continued the business and they continue to do great work that is up to the standards that their father set (my parents have worked with them recently).

The first thing you will want to remark about with Wilmington Door and Window is.
They arrive when they say they will, They do their work within the timeframe agreed to. They clean up after themselves and work neatly and with very good organization

After many weeks of researching replacement windows for our home, we decided to hire Wilmington Window and Door to do the job.  They are a long-time family-owned business right here in our town.  The owner, Michael Brooks, was extremely helpful, as well as very patient, in answering our many questions.  He came to our home and measured each of the 20 windows, and quickly gave us a very reasonable written estimate.  He ordered the windows and the storm door and told us to expect the job to be done in approx. 3 weeks.  Sure enough, he was right on target.  Michael came, along with his brother, Keith, and their third installer, Clint.  All three, very systematically, and methodically, prepped and installed 20 windows, room by room.  Since they worked so well together (each one knowing exactly what to do), they installed the whole house of windows, along with the front storm door, in approx. 6 hours.  No rushing at all.
All three were extremely friendly and very nice, a pleasure to have in our home.  I would surely recommend Wilmington Window and Door to our neighbors and friends.  They did a great job!

Crew was on time, door was in stock, installation was done within promised time frame. Old unit was taken away at no extra charge and the area was as clean as when the crew arrived.

I called on a Saturday, and spoke to Les who called back to arrange an estimate that same day.

Because of my concern with water splashing on the patio, he recommended the Andersen 400 series Frenchwood patio door because it has a moisture-resistant composite on the outside.  The price that he quoted for replacing the patio door with an Andersen Frenchwood was the same as the big-box home improvement store estimate that I had gotten for an all-vinyl door.  The price that he quoted for installation of the fire door was less than half of the other estimate.

We had some issues in the ordering of the doors and scheduling of the installation, but I am very happy with the final result.  The install of the doors and trim (which was included in the estimate) went perfectly, and I'm very happy with my new doors.  The installers arrived in the morning, and were cleaned up and done with both doors by lunch time.

On time for estimate and window installation, which took one day. Replaced all blinds that had been on the windows. Good job cleaning up. The instruction book and warranty was provided a few weeks later, after I asked.

It went well. 1 inside door was damaged at the shop so they didn't put it in and they ordered a new one. It took a few months to get it put in (they never called me when it came in, I had to call them---then they came). They did a good job. Only thing to be aware of is that the fixtures they had available I didn't like (the nobs for the doors), but they were very accomodating. I picked up the ones I did like at Lowe's and they deducted the price from the overall estimate and installed them. The windows are working great. Nothing complicated with what they had to do. The estimate was the price in the end--- no extra fees. They informed us about the tax credit and were very knowledgable about it. I'll use them again to replace the rest of my windows/doors.

It went quite well. They arrived on time and proceeded to remove and install a new front and storm door. Upon completing the front door they proceeded to remove the 3 windows and replace them, completing the whole project in about 3 1/2 hours.

Les visited the house twice prior to installation. The quote was prompt and accurate. The best part was that the job was completed in one day instead of an estimated two days. Even though one of the doors had the incorrect glass in it, Les drove to New Hampshire to collect the correct glass and place it into the door himself. The house was left in good condition and doors look great.

Wilmington Window & Door removed our old bay window and installed a new, Harvey bay window. They built a new roof over it and matched the shingles perfectly with our existing roof shingles. They replaced the inside molding and cleaned up all debris before leaving. They did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them.

Estimate was comprehensive and well explained. Workers showed up on time each day (4 day job) and were careful, competent and pleasant. Good cleanup. Everything went according to plan and on budget. They upgraded the storm door I had initially selected to a better one at no charge.

The windows in the home we just purchased were in bad shape. Some windows did not close all the way, and we didn't want the windows to be the source of a skyrocketing heating bill. I contacted Wilmington Window and Door and set up an appointment. Lester was very punctual and very polite. He brought a sample window (Harvey double-hung classic) and explained how they worked. Price was reasonable. Windows arrived 3 weeks after placing the order, as he stated. Lester's crew came in and out during a weekday and got all windows done in one day. I tested all of the windows and they all functioned as designed. All seams on my casings were replaced and caulked. I ordered 15 windows, but there are 16 windows to the house in total. I did not replace the last window because of a possible addition I was planning which would have involved eliminating that window. During the day of installation, the workers accidentally dismantled the existing 16th window and had to put it back when they realized their mistake. However, Lester admitted that this was his company's oversight and gave me the option to have a free replacement window put in. I was very happy that customer satisfaction, not profit, was top priority. I'm sure with other contractors out there, I would have been forced to haggle over something like this. End result: all of my windows were replaced. The windows are very high quality; no drafts at all even on very windy days. Already I can tell that my heater runs less frequently. Very satisfied!

We had a great experience. They answered our call right away. Within a few days the father came to give us an estimate and broke it down as to how much the door was, labor. The price was as we expected. We had our door within 2 weeks. The son and another worker were very courteous, friendly, knew what they were doing. They replaced a piece of wood that had rotted at no extra charge. They cleaned up most everything. Our door looks great! We plan to have them replace our front door and a couple of windows. Highly recommend them! (By the way, my twin 2 1/2 year old boys liked them, too).

PERFECT, Les saved me and my wife from a big headache. They put it in perfectly and the guys were great. They checked out other things I want to do and the personal feel and customer service is something that is invaluable in this day of contractors being hard to find. Les and his team do such a great job, charge a very fair price, and do a better job than most that if you live in this area it makes no sense not to use them. I am now having them put in 5 Harvey Windows and will likely replace the rest of the windows in the Summer because "Guaranteed Aluminum - which I reported on" ruined new windows they put in and wouldn't even come out to look at how their installed did it. So unfortunately I have to pay for these new windows but Les is going out of his way to help, pointed me to this site, and has done far more to talk with my wife and I about what was done wrong and explain things to us than anyone else I have ever dealt with. It gives you hope when you are stuck!

The windows took 5 weeks to be special ordered due to the fact that they were replacement windows of non-traditional size. The windows were inspected and all were found to be in excellent shape (no visible defects). They removed the storm and old windows and inserted the replacement windows. In two instances it was noted that there was insufficient insulation around the original window opening so they added insulation. After each window installation they checked the complete working order of the window including both tilt-outs. They also were careful to caulk everywhere. They cleaned up each work space by vacuuming and replacing the window treatments!

The customer has been cautioned to read the brochure in detail to preserve and protect the improvements that have been made.

We felt price was reasonable, however, partial payment was made the beginning of August and they scheduled the work for the beginning of Sept. It took many calls and a threat to have the money returned before the job was done.

I wish all service companies were like this one. Lester came to my house, talked over my options on windows and spent plenty of time with me on our best options. I wanted windows with good sound insulation as I am a light sleeper, and my home is close to the road. We also needed to remove 3 tall windows that were not to code on a second floor room. As I purchased the highest end windows Harvey makes, I am glad to see my money was well spent. And the installers...the BEST. Pleasant, clean cut, very nice. Cleaned up their mess. Arrived on time, set up shop in my yard and yet when they left, you would have never known they were sawing and building stuff there. We had one window come from Harvey with a flaw, and Lester promptly reordered and had it replaced within 2 weeks. I cannot say enough good things about Lester or his team.
