I have used Gleeson of Vellox Roofing for a number of roofing projects. He gets in there with a big crew the day he says he will start, gets the job done in a day or two and leaves a job well done with a clean job site without any sign of debris or roofing materials to be found. Highly suggest his services for anyone looking for any roofing job whether it be rubber, shingles, fully replaced or any repair work needed.

They were great! Showed up to inspect the roof an hour after I called, and gave us a quote less than 24 hours later. They were able to fit us in quickly, less than two weeks, and the job took only a day. Super professional, great job, I would totally recommend them!

I've left over 10 reviews on Angie's list and I have to say that Gleyson/Vellox Construction were by far the best experience I have had. He was very prompt in returning phone calls and emails. He was able to come out to review my problem and give me a quote within 24 hours. He explained the work to be done in a clear manner. With my sagging roof, it was hard to tell exactly what the problem was before Gleyson and his crew got up there and started tearing off the shingles. For that reason, his quote was a range of $1,500 to $2,000 and the final price would depend on the damage to the roof and the amount of work and materials required to fix it. Now having dealt with other contractors before, I was expecting the final price to come out on the high side, just so they could make money. But not Gleyson - he was extremely honest. He showed me that my rafters were not actually cracked, but some of the roof sheathing had cracked and had dry-rot and my old porch roof (house built in early 1900's) was not level. Since he didn't have to replace rafters and the work was within his expected scope, he charged me the previously agreed upon price of $1,500. Again, he could have tried to pump up his pricing and get me to pay an extra $500, but did not. That type of honesty and integrity goes a long way in my book. Bottom line, I would absolutely hire Vellox Construction again. The price was fair and Gleyson and his team are professionals that know what they are doing, are very courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and finished my job in half a day.

The whole experince was great. I called Gleyson to get an estimate. We made the appointment a few days later. He showed up on time and took his time going over the work needed. He came back with an estimate in a couple of days. I then requested he come back and explain the wording and costs to me line item by line item. He had no problem doing so, was polite and very patient as I asked him to explain a couple of things in more detail a few times over! They whole crew showed up for the work on time & were professional going about their business. When my neighbor became concerned about roof shingles/debris perhaps going in her driveway, Gleyson put down a tarp to cover it. They minimilized the mess by putting tarps down and when they left, you never knew anyone had done any work to the house. The driveway & yard were cleaner than when they arrived! I also asked him if they could put several heavy pieces of wood into the dumpster for me. Again, there was no problem with the request even though it had nothing to do with the roof replacement. Gleyson came back to do a couple of minor things for me (adding a gutter extender and a mesh over the new gutter) and I'm really pleased with the way everything looks. If you're looking for a roofer that has very reasonable rates and a pleasant way of conducting business, I would highly recommend Vellox Construction & Roofing.

I’m beyond satisfied that I hired Vellox Construction to do my new roof. Gleyson and his crew were fast, clean, affordable, and they did good work. He was also very customer-focused, responding to multiple texts and emails to guide me through the process. And he genuinely cared that I was happy with the job they did. I am! The owner was easy to work with. Never felt like he was trying to sell me a job. He was very knowledgeable of giving details of the work that had to be repaired since a squirrel had bitten through the fascia board. He was quick to reply to any calls or questions. A quote was drawn up and once I signed he started right away. The work was done in a day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for roof repair or installing a new roof.

Fantastic service and work quality! I am a landlord. I had some shingle damage and thus a roof leak. For a roofer this was a small repair but for me it was a bad leak. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They moved the appointment sooner without my asking (Same Day!) becasue they were concerned that a lot of rain was forcast. They showed up ON TIME, FIXED it and charged less than estimated. gleyson and his crew are one of the best contractors I have ever used. I own a few companies and can only hope my people are as nice and professional and competent as Vellox Roofing. I will definitely use them again.

We solicited several quotes before choosing Vellox to tear off and replace our roof. Not only was Gleyson's quote reasonable but he presented it to us in person and left us with the impression that he wanted the job. He provided us with a detailed quote and collateral about the product he would be using on our home. Gleyson and his crew are busy so it took us a little while to schedule date - but it was worth the wait. His crew arrived promptly at 7 a.m. and worked what seemed like nonstop for 13 hours to complete the job. The crew was courteous, friendly and professional. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving and Gleyson returned the following day to inspect the job and verify that all was cleaned up and put back in order on our property. We also appreciated that there was no haggling over the price - some unforeseen challenges arose during the job and they were addressed without request for additional payment. We highly recommend that you consider Vellox for roofing project.

The roof was in really bad shape, the shingles were discolored and showing wear. Tar seams were cracked and parted in some areas and shingles around the vents were curling up and completely loose in some areas. Gleyson provided 2 options and sent samples of the shingles to us through the mail, (which arrived quickly). He showed up when he said he would and the entire project went smoothly.

The work went very well. The company got the necessary approval from the Back Bay Architectural Commission and the building permit from the City of Boston. The crane was here in the back alley for less than a day to remove the existing deck and its contents and put them in a dumpster. All I had to do was be sure that cars parked back there would be moved for that period of time. The crane returned one more time for less than an hour to bring up the decking. The workmen went up the fire escape and did not have to come through the building. My day-to-day life was hardly interrupted. I dealt with Gleyson Oliviera and he was very professional and easy to work with. He kept me informed on the progress with the job. He even helped clean out a gutter. I thought that the cost was very reasonable for all of the work involved.

Very responsive, arrived within a couple of days exactly on the day he said the work would be done. Good customer service, calls and email are answered right away. Most happy with work and the line of communications.

They were right on schedule and did an amazing job... it came out beautiful!! All the neighbors were impressed with the quality of work and the efficiency that Gleyson and his team carried all along. All I have to say is Bravo.

The project was done in a timely fashion, materials used were high grade and cleanup was meticulous. Upon completion satisfaction was assured before payment balance was given.

Gleyson and he crew provided a reasonable estimate for the job and he and his crew completed the job, at the amount estimated for cost, on time, and with no additional costs or other surprises. The cleanup was also excellent. Could not have asked for a better experience.
