We were considering buying a new couch after our armless chair (part of a sectional) had some wear spots and small tears in the seating area. We decided to try reupholstery after speaking with Eddie and listening to his suggestions. He picked up the chair on Wednesday and had it back here on Friday. It looked brand new. This man is an Upholstery Genius. If you’re considering upholstering or reupholstering, speak with Eddie before you do anything else. In addition, his price is very reasonable and his work is excellent. We just saved over $4k over the price of a new couch. A huge bonus for us!

Wonderful! The process was easy. The work was done quickly and the end result was very impressive. Eddie was easy to work with and readily accommodated my request to see more fabric samples. The chair looks great! I would us DiCarlo again should the need arise and have already recommended a friend who needs a chair redone due to cat damage.

The whole process was great! Eddie, the owner of Di Carlo Upholstery in Weymouth, is a hard working, honest man who provides great attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship and creative problem solving ideas. It was our 1st time working with Eddie and it was an easy process and a pleasure. Eddie came to meet us, see our couch and bring up some samples after a long day at work. He gave of his time and ideas. There was no rush. Eddie told us 2 weeks to get the couch done and that was exactly when it was finished. He communicated with us throughout that time by text with questions and pictures and by phone calls. The whole process moved along in a timely fashion and was completed on time. Eddie delivered our 2 seat leather couch reupholstered with fabric cushions and a custom designed couch back cover and arm covers. All covers can be flipped over behind the couch thereby hiding the covers while company is there. At other times the covers can be brought back down to cover the back and arms which helps to protect the couch from 2 dogs and 2 cats. It was a creative solution mutually designed and carried out very well. We are very pleased with our "new" leather couch and highly recommended Eddie and DiCarlo Upholstery.

Great job! Eddie is a prompt, clear and amiable communicator. After our initial email exchange, I scrolled through some of the brands on DiCarlo’s website and sent screenshots of samples I like. Eddie came to my place with lots of sample books that reflected my preferences, which made it easy to narrow options and then make a decision. I put 50% down and he left with my chair. My beautifully rebuilt and reupholstered chair was delivered in a week - in time for Christmas! - and it is better than new. Eddie’s knowledge about and pride in his craft is evident, and I like that DiCarlo’s is a longtime family business. As for the price - when compared to the cost of a new chair it is, for me, well worth the investment for the quality, comfort, and satisfaction of having exactly the fabric I wanted. Add super responsive customer service and speed. Worth every penny!

DiCarlo has loads of books from which to choose your material. I was able to take sample books to my home in order to make my final choice. Eddie immediately ordered the material and quickly received it, picked up my chairs, reupholstered them, and delivered them back to me within a few days. He did a wonderful job! The chairs were refurbished (all loose wooden fittings reglued, all new foam cushioning), polished, and beautifully upholstered. The workmanship is outstanding! Thank you, Eddie.

They did an absolutely beautiful job on each of them. They are so skilled and do very careful work. I could not have been more pleased with both the projects. Restoring the chair was a very involved process. These are really master crafts people as well as very warm and loving people.
