The inspector had to call in a replacement due to being ill but we were not informed until a different inspector showed up. Replacement inspector did fine but scheduling was a pain.

We had issues with getting the results due to the weather. The individual we dealt with (Kenneth) and the owner went above and beyond to get us the lab results.

Prompt, courteous, and friendly. Thorough lead testing with high tech sensor (no scraping or chipping of paint.) Technician answered all my various questions knowledgeably. Although they do not do the actual deleading themselves they gave me names of contractors they work with who do that specialized work. Harvard Environmental Services will return to retest the site after the work is done and provide a certificate of compliance once they are satisfied that it was completed right and cleanup was complete. If necessary the contractor will return to meet any shortfall at no extra cost and HES will retest again at no extra cost. That first followup testing after the work is complete *will* cost the same or slightly more than the original testing which was a surprise to me. That's the only reason that I gave a lowered rating on value for money.

They were quick to respond and to do the inspection I needed. The office staff kept me up to date every step of the way and I received the results I needed on the next business day. I would definitely use this company again!

They offered us a competitive quote, checked in with us all along the way, and answered our (many) questions. They are professional, show up when they say they will, and provide a thorough report with reasonable recommendations. Good stuff.
