One of the higher estimates I received, but worth every penny. David is professional, easy to communicate with, and his work his excellent. I was not living in the place he was working on and he still finished on time and the quality was excellent (aka: an excellent professional). I would happily hire him again, He was even happy to communicate after the job was done and he was paid! He truly cares about his customers and does an excellent job!

We reached out to David Candella in the late stages of a renovation project and he was very responsive to our schedule and needs. Before I hired him I had a feeling he would be good from the questions and comments he made over the phone. He showed up as scheduled and finished the job on time and the work was impeccable. Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction. Would definitely use him again and has my highest recommendation.

We had an excellent experience with Candella's. Prompt timing, easy to talk to, quality work...I can't say enough about how pleasant the experience was, and how great the work was. Estimate was provided quicker than any other quoters (we were waiting on 3), Dave knew we were in a time crunch and moved up the project because he had the availability (this was immensely appreciated!). He cleaned up everything after doing a fabulous job, we would absolutely have him back and recommended him to a coworker the day after he started.

Dave came off as very nice and knowledgeable when I met him and promised to do a top notch professional work in our addition.That is not what happened. At first it was going well, but that quickly ended. He was bringing in helpers that did not know what they were doing, even his girlfriend. He essentially ruined the job as it looks cheap and unprofessional: - over-sprayed our brand new windows and did not fix - most of the nail holes were not filled and sanded - caulking was messy and incomplete - did not sand the plaster imperfections as he promised - drops of paint were coming down the window trim and dried this way. never fixed - cheap sprayer he used left a lot of bubbles on the surface - never fixed - some trim was left completely unpainted My mistake was that I paid him on completion, but he promised to come back and fix all issues. He refused with no explanation and stopped answering the phone. Prior to that he made a suggestion that i could not expect the job to be done well based on the amount of money I paid him...which was a full contract price. He has no integrity and behaved very unprofessional once received the full payment. Will be smarter next time. Stay away from him. I have all text messages and pictures of his work as proof. I see he has some positive reviews and that is part of the reason i picked him. Don't get burned like i did

"Hi, Guerman, I will say it has been very difficult working with you since you made so many changes after our signed contract. You can't just add on things and expect them to be free! It came to a point where you kept adding things we did not originally agree on. These things took a lot of extra time and held me back on my other job(s) starting date. I did not charge you for the additional things when I should have (but next time I will because of this)! The last day of the job, you and I both did a walk through and you signed the agreement that you were fully satisfied with the completion of work. Your project looked 100% but me being the nice guy still came back for yet another half day to do these so called touch ups for you. You make it look like I am a bad professional, but in reality you are not seeing the trouble(s) you have caused me. I make sure every customer is happy and you were happy when the job was done. Then a couple days later you say there is a lot of work left to do. You really do not make any sense. I am not responsible for anything other workers in your home did to the finished paint job. The floor guys make dust, they cause some things to be touched up. You had plumbers, electricians, carpenters, all kinds of people in that house and at the same time. It was a nightmare for everyone and very poorly executed on your part. Sorry you are unsatisfied with my services and free services thereafter, but next time let me know before I leave the job and have a signed contract stating that you are fully satisfied with the completion of work."

We used Dave to paint six rooms plus hallways in our house - walls, ceilings and trim. Dave came the same day for our estimate, provided the estimate in about one day, and started the following week. The quality of his work is exceptional. He is hard working and is willing to work long hours to get the job down more quickly without sacrificing quality. We plan to use Dave again for other projects both inside and outside of our house.

Very informed painter. Up to five layers of wallpaper were removed, Walls prepped and primed in the entire house. Excellent, professional job. I was impressed with the service and the cleanup! I would definitely hire and recommend this company again.
