MARTINS FLOOR COVERING INC

It was the day we had a snow storm in March. I went in and there was nobody in there but two girls in the office and I said "Oh I just want to make sure you were open" and she said to me, "Yeah we are open" and she said, "we are just waiting for people to come in". So I sat down at the desk and I told her I was interested in hardwood flooring and I had a sample from Home Depot of a color and she got me one thing that had a bunch of little samples on it. I told her what size house I had and she did not even tell me anything about the different kinds of wood or the finish or anything else. She made it seem to be that I was bothering her. Maybe they were looking forward to a day with no customers in there. She says "Let's try to figure out your square footage" I said okay, and I had not even picked out a material yet. So I told her I had an L-shaped ranch, how many bedrooms and everything. So she says to me "well, it is going to cost you about 12,000 dollars". I said "okay goodbye". I got up and I will never go back in there again because that was not a very good experience. I did not even pick out a material. She was not getting up and get me anything else to look at. It was bad. I certainly would not be keeping my job if that is the way I treated my customers. I think she was like overpricing it just to get rid of me.
