This was our worst furniture experience ever. We bought 2 sofas and 2 leather chairs in September. When delivered 2 months later, one sofa had a tear and the frame was loose. The 2 leather chairs both had a manufacturer's defect in the reclining mechanisms. The defect cut the leather on the foot stool every time you reclined. Boston Interiors agreed to replace the leather chairs, but we would need to pay about $100.00 more each chair for the model without this manufacturer's defect. We decided to pay the amount. Months went buy and we never heard from Boston Interiors. Apparently, back in December their Customer Service people never ordered the chairs or the material to fix the sofa. More months later, the sofa was finally fixed by rebuilding and replacing the torn material. Boston Interiors has so many damaged items that they have technicians who can rebuild the damaged furniture. This is not a good thing. The new chairs were also finally delivered. Unbelievably, they were delivered damaged. One of the dark brown leather chairs had a white spot right in the middle of the seat cushion. The other chair had problems with its frame. Again, a technician came out, but this time he could not fix the chair. So, Boston Interiors agreed to order a new seat cover and a new chair. Another month goes by. Boston Interiors calls to say that the leather we selected back in September is no longer available. As such we can order a new chair in a new leather or take $275.00 off the price for the damaged chair. We are now into May with 2 damaged chairs and 2 sofas that we ordered all together for family room back in September. Jeremy in Customer Service never tracked our order and never followed up with us. We were the ones who had to call. We were the one who found the manufacturer's defect for chairs they had been selling for years. There is absolutely no customer service at Boston Interiors. Had we not contacted Visa back in February about our problems and put a hold on our final payment, we would be totally helpless. Buyers beware. Boston Interiors may have a nice showroom and sales staff, but your furniture will come damaged and Customer Service will be a nightmare.
Description of Work: We purchased to 2 sofas and 2 leather reclining chairs.
