SERV-PRO OF THE MID UPPER CAPE

On a Sunday morning, I discovered 2 inches of water covering the entire floor of my very large unfinished basement. Not knowing what to do, I called the local fire department. The fire chief came by to evaluate the risk to my furnace and water heaters. At that time the furnace and water heaters were fine, but he did state that it should be pumped sooner than later if the water continued to rise. I called Servepro and spoke with their on call service person. He suggested that I should monitor the situation if the water did not seem to be rising at this time. He mentioned that basements that had been pumped out were already filling up again. On Monday, the service person came by to assess the damage and give me a quote. I was impressed by his knowledge, his professionalism and his concern for my situation. We decided to monitor for one more day. However, with rain predicted for the next evening I decided to have the water pumped out the following day. The service manager was cooperative in scheduling the work immediately and within two hours that afternoon the work was done. The charge was moderate, but worth the relief it provided. There was a small issue with the paperwork due to the emergency nature of the service, but was rectified to my satisfaction in a timely and courteous manner. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use Servpro in the future and would recommend them to others.
