Guessing that I was due to have the tank pumped I dug the septic tank lid myself then called Blue Water for a quote to pump it. They said $253 for a 1000 tank. I asked them if I got a break for digging the lid myself because I have been used to getting a $25 break at my primary house each time it is pumped, but they told me that they did not do that. I decided to use them anyhow because they were rated A on Angie's list. I requested that when they pumped it they would do 3 things: 1. leave me a note telling me how full the tank was, 2. Before they replaced the lid after pumping to place a large plastic bag (I had left by the tank) on top of the tank so I could easily find the lid next time it needed pumping and 3. credit me $20 for the Angie's coupon. They did none of these without my making 2 phone calls back afterwards, and a rep told me to leave a message to the supervisor's voice mail (which he never returned) and then I made personal visit to their office to have them complete these 3 things. The lady at the office was very pleasant and fixed the problem finally, but I was disappointed in their service overall.
