Peter's not the least expensive person to hire, but he does excellent work, and has broad knowledge about what makes sense in what situation. He was able to suggest alternate ways to take care of some repairs, which saved me money, while giving me an excellent result. I've used him for many small projects and a couple of larger ones over the last several years. I wish I could clone him!!

Peter Vallely came to my home to repair a broken drapery mechanism. He arrived promptly, had all necessary tools, including ladder and flashlight, in his truck, took his time assessing the situation, then went to work figuring out the best way of fixing the problem. He succeeded in the repair, put the drapes back in perfect working order, and explained in detail what he did and why. I recommend him without reservations and would definitely call on him again when other projects need doing.

I needed new fence against an existing anchor fence. Peter did the job promptly and well at a reasonable price.

Peter is a nice guy, easy to work with, reliable, honest and a problem solver. Using Peter instead of a fence company saved about $1500.

When Peter did show, he did a good as expected job. I liked that he was upfront, honest and clear on what he could and couldn't do and what his recommendations were. What I didn't like that we had an appt. for a set time, which he asked to change and then when he didn't show or call, I had to call repeatedly to ask. He could have been just that much more diligent in keeping to set schedule. Like I said, once he did show, he was very good and worked very hard for the best installation. He cared enough to make a quick run to the store to get a part or two. Workmanship gets A+, while timeliness gets a C.
