F.D. Sterritt Lumber Co. has such a rich history we are so proud of. Founded in 1841 we are one of the oldest retail lumber companies in the United States. Currently Sterritt is in its 3rd generation of Mackin Family ownership. Our long history includes supplying lumber to some of the most historic buildings built in Boston during the industrial revolution to today supplying FSC lumber some of the most environmentally friendly LEED certified buildings in the world.
