I recently had an issue with squirrels and needed assistance. I have lived in this house for several years and never had a problem with squirrels. I did some research and founds some great reviews for Critter Control of Greater Boston. I called on a Friday and they were at my house on Monday. It had snow that Sunday and I thought that these guys are going to cancel and reschedule. To my surprise Mike showed up and went right to work. He got right up on the roof and checked for access points but everything was sealed tight. Since it had snowed he looked for footprints and determine that the only access point might be an air vent. We were talking in the driveway and I was explaining to him all the noise/scratching I was hearing from the side of the house. All of a sudden we see a squirrel run across the drive way jump onto the electrical conduit right up the side of the house and onto the roof and into the air vent. We looked at each other and said it looks like that confirms how they are getting in. Mike assured me that they could take care of the problem. He came back the next day set up some traps and indicated that he would be checking the traps for the next few days to ensure that the issue was resolved. He captured the pesky critter and installed a netted cover over the air vent. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and service I also had them install a chimney cap. I work in a customer service industry and Mike delivered exceptional service and I would truly recommend Mike and this company in a second. Awesome job! Thanks EDM

Critter Control was very professional throughout the entire process. They responded quickly to my inquiry and within just a few days had installed the squirrel trap. I was updated regularly during the process; I was contacted when the squirrel was caught and then again once the hole had been repaired. I was very pleased with the results.

I highly recommend critter control. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I call regarding gray squirrels getting in my attic. They were very responsive, very professional, and very timely. Matt came out to set traps and remove three squirrels and George followed to seal the entry point and make additional repairs to prevent any future critters from getting in. Dealing with critters is expensive, but working with these guys makes it worth every penny.

On the whole this went well. They were very thorough and explained what they were going to do. They told me I had bats and flying squirrels (the latter being evident as soon as I opened the door to the walk-up attic). Applied full bat proofing (including proofing for the flying squirrels) warranted for 2 years. They did a thorough inspection of the roof and potential entrances; closed up entrances and installed one way gates (and came back to take those out a few weeks later on schedule), and added a chimney cap and also took care of the mouse entrance I knew about. Unfortunately the pesky flying squirrels managed to get back in. They came back promptly to both trap and then find and shut off their entrance. Very thorough and highly professional.

Love Critter Control! From the minute I called and spoke to Christine on the phone, to meeting Matt at my door to investigate what noises I was hearing in my attic, it was 100% wonderful service! Once Matt diagnosed the issue, (which was only mice and not the family of squirrels or raccoons I had envisioned), he gave me some options and quoted me for what he thought would prevent any future issues, I trusted his opinion and scheduled to have someone do minor repairs on the exterior with a follow up visit where Matt came back in and set up traps in the attic and crawl space. Since the work was done I haven't heard anymore noises in the attic! So thankful for Critter Control!! Recommend them to everyone! Thanks again!!

Whole process went great. They came and assessed issue and provided me humane options. We went with the option to put a exclusion fence around shed to prevent animals from making under our shed home. Worked great animals left within a day (or two) and we have not seen any skunks, rabbits, or gophers in the last two weeks. Now we feel our fenced backyard is safe for our puppies to run loose.

I was very pleased with the work. The fencing was installed in one day and the woodchuck trapping took place over a few days (including the use of a one-way door). The area around the deck was cleaned up nicely after installation of the fencing. Updates were communicated to me daily and the work included a 3 year point of repair warranty.

Squirrel was nesting in detached garage. Challenge was that the garage is open to the outside. Matt set traps in various areas over the course of the week and did trap the squirrel. I highly recommend them and would hire them again.

Critter Control provided one of the best experiences we’ve had with any contractor. They were punctual, explained clearly on how they were going to remove squirrels that had chewed a hole in the crown molding near our roof peak and nested in the molding. Matt was clear on what needed to be done both to get rid of the squirrels and to repair the molding and another spot under a gutter that they were also accessing. The trapping was done daily until no more squirrels were evident and then the company completed a seamless repair. They were informative, punctual, honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Matt came out the next day and installed a cage to trap the squirrel and returned the next day to check the cage. He removed the squirrel and replaced the cage. We caught 2 squirrels. Matt replaced the cage again and checked it until he was sure there were no squirrels. He then patched the hole and it matched perfectly with house. Can’t say enough nice things about him.

A great overall experience...from Christine who made the appointment to Mike who performed the work. This is a very professional and responsive company. Mike was exceptional...he came in and quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided a fair quote and then quickly removed a bird's nest sitting in a house vent. He was thorough, quick and very pleasant. He even painted the vent cover screen to match the hose color which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Mike is a true credit to the company. Traps were set; no squirrels trapped; holes were temporarily closed, with recommendation for more permanent work by our own contractor. Warranty for four to five months. Photographs were provided for the work to be done. Planning to do work in a month. Matt has offered to advise our contractor on work, if necessary. Perfect! Matt came over, inspected our roof line and discovered it was completely open. He suggested closing off the open gap below our roof-line with metal cladding, installing two one-way doors in that to let the critters out and setting up traps. The work took a little time to set up (1.5 days) but once done he monitored the traps on a regular basis. The critters departed our walls within about 2 days, and have not returned since.

It was great. Matt responded right away and came over and removed a squirrel nest. Then we had to coordinate timing with the solar installers, who had to fix the chewed wires and reinstall panels. Coordinated so the squirrel guards would be installed the next day. The installer (Adam) was fantastic. Highly recommend these guys!!!!
