James was very responsive from the very beginning, being the only contractor to actually send me estimates for the work.  He was able to start the work soon after the damage happened and kept the various people doing the work on a very practical schedule.  I felt comfortable either emailing him or calling him on his cell phone and felt sure that he would respond quickly.  He had good ideas for me and helped me make decisions about various phases of the work.  I would recommend him highly.

It is spectacular. They are able to juggle multiple details, keep creative solutions on tasks and have a strong awareness of the timeline. It is really outstanding. We knew about them through word-of-mouth. We interviewed them and interviewed others. Without exceptions, the workers are excellent. He definitely, clearly screened them and he's totally on top of who is doing the work for him. They're very competitive on the pricing. It was at least 50% less than the bid of another company similarly recommended well. Their quality, punctuality and professionalism are excellent. Their responsiveness is beyond excellent.

This is the third time we've done renovations on our house (three different areas). It's the first time we've used Cullen Custom Homes and, if we have any more work to do, we will use them again. The quality of the work is very good. In any construction project, there always will be things that need to be corrected. Fortunately for us, there were very few. But when it happened, James Cullen usually found those things before we did, pointed them out to us, and then fixed them. When we found things, there was never an argument - it just got done.
The subcontractors he brought in (electricians, plumbers, painters) did very good work, were very responsive to our needs, and always cleaned up promptly. James managed the subcontractors very professionally and they were very responsive to him.
