They do fantastic work and especially for Volvo's. I have been going there for a couple of years and have been very satisfied with their work.

First of all, the mechanic never came out to discussed what was done; or what was needed down the line.

I waited for my car in the waiting area, which was run down. If you're allergic to dogs, you won't want to wait, the cute old lab was lying on the worn leather couch. I couldn't plug in my laptop to do work while I waited. Bottom line: the waiting area is not conducive to long waits and although it did appear clean. I really wanted to like this place, but do not feel I had anything more than an average to low-average experience. Will hope to find another local Volvo repair place.

My car (a 2005 S60) now has 140,000 miles on it, and I want it to last another 60,000 miles (at least). Prior to finding these folks, I had been taking my car to the dealer. I wasn't going to be able to afford to keep that up as my car advanced in age. These guys do a great job at reasonable prices (in one case I had a quote from the dealer that was 40% more to replace the radiator). I'm glad I found them. Also, they'll do an oil change in the morning while I get a cup of coffee.

Quality Volvo Repair provides good service at a reasonable price. Before I found this place, I had been going to Volvo dealer. But I had to go back to the dealer 3 times in a row just to fix some annoying steering noise. After the brakes were fixed at Quality Volvo Repair, I experienced squeaking braking noises initially but get better after a while. I assumed the job was done OK. Quality Volvo Repair seems honest. Every time the car is serviced, they put down recommended services for the next visit in the receipt, which is helpful, and the recommended services seem reasonable. They start early in the morning and close early in the afternoon. So I usually have to drop off car the evening before and struggle to get there to pick up the car before they close.

My wife was driving car when message came on to stop car and get service. Volvo dealer was right down the street, so she drove car there. Dealer said engine was ruined and needed to be replaced. This sounded odd to me so I had car towed to another dealer who gave same diagnosis as first dealer. Cost to repair would be at least $10,000. I know very little about engine repair, but this did not seem correct to me. I called Terry and described the symptoms. Just describing the symptoms Terry said it sounds like the oil intake tube was clogged and need to be cleaned by hand along with the oil pan and breather box. He said he had other customers who were told the same thing by dealers and he was able to repair car. The dealer had never stated why the engine was ruined, but when I asked, he confirmed exactly what Terry had said. When I asked him why they couldn't fix this he said it was because "it is very time consuming and easier to just replace the engine." Apparently they expect customers to pay for their convenience. He failed to mention that if they replaced my engine, they would fix it and then sell it off as a rebuilt engine for $8,000 to $10,000. I had the car towed to Quality Volvo. Terry had it repaired within a few days and the final price was came in less than estimate of $2300. This repair was done approximately 5000 miles ago and engine works as well as ever. Since this repair I have had routine maintenance performed at Quality Volvo and been very pleased.

Terry has done many repairs over the last 4 years for me. They have been very fair. They replaced the oil seals and changed a leaking solenoid in the tranny.

Great, its an old car and needed another metal fuel pipe as well, but they never replace parts unless its required.
