Electrical Service
Joie was supposed to update the electrical in my house which entailed removing knob and tube. Throughout the duration of the project, he was confrontational. Furthermore, he missed key dates that caused the renovation to be delayed by several weeks. Recently we updated a bathroom only to have the new electrician find knob and tube still connected and powering a portion of the house.

Joie contracted to wire a new space, to upgrade the service, and to replace an existing electric panel. He wired the new space which passed the rough electrical inspection. When the drywall was up and the space for ready for the finish work, he then said it would be several weeks before he could get to it. Over two months later, since he was not returning phone calls, I had the city electrical inspector call him. He told the inspector he would not be completing the job. The replacement electric contractor had to spend a couple of days repairing work done incorrectly. Additionally, he accepted a check to replace a panel which was not done, and did not check with the HVAC contractor for the load on the heating unit and therefore put in a panel that was insufficient for the load.
