Farrell Masonry

Rich Farrell & his crew/helper were great!!!  They did a very thorough job including covering the grass & existing walkway to minimize dust & debris on the yard.  They got the steps taken out or demo work done in roughly a day including hauling away the bits of broken concrete & mortar.  At the end of each day a thorough clean-up was done.  
     Rich communicated his process well since I was around to ask lots of questions.  He & his helper rebuilt the steps in about 3 days.  (One day was a wash-out/rain, so they couldn't work)  It is impressive to see the whole process.  While I am sure that it is not easy to do, watching a professional mason in action is like watching an artist paint.  He made it look so easy.  
     After the final part of the steps/platform next to the front door was done, he came back the next day to wash off the excess mortar & brought out the best appearance of the bricks & granite treads.  We do have a sign in the front yard to spread the word on his work.  I had seen him down the street which is why I got a quote from him.  There were 2 other quotes & his was the best for the stairs.  He was a bit higher on the walkway so we decided to hold off on that for now.
      In addition to doing great work at a competitive price, he also supports community kids sports!!  All round great person & company!

They showed up on time and was very professional. He did an excellent job on the stone on and the walkway and he takes great pride in his work. He is a real artisan who comes from a family of Masons and I was very satisfied with the end result. I would continue to use him in the future and would highly recommend him to other members.
