be performed before he began and also reviewed other products and services they
offer. Nic did a beautiful job cleaning
my furniture and placed everything back where it belonged. It is the great service and quality of the
job that keeps me as a Colonial Chem-Dry customer. Become a customer, you'll love them!
He is very professional and friendly.
per my checkup in Angie's list. I called a few places, before I follow other reviewer opinion. They came in the same day to pick up this rug. That was very good and diligent pickup with 15% discount. I was told that it would take a good 2 weeks. Ok... It could be, because I thought others also starts to clean their rug for a new year.
2 weeks passed. No call from ChemDry. Ok... They might be scheduling for a delivery. On Thursday of 3rd week, I need to call in ChemDry. They said that they will deliver it Friday. Ok. Then I have them deliver it. When it delivered, I found that it was a damp with moisture. When I step on it with my feet, I can see my socks got wet. I need to roll it up again myself and moved it on top of dining table to have it dry for 2 days.
Isn't it too hard to have it cleaned and dried for 3 weeks without having me dry it over my dining table for 2 days before I unroll it in my living room?
May be I am unlucky customer.
"Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your experience with my company. Our goal is to provide our customers with the most outstanding experience possible. It is clear that we let you down in more ways than one and for this I sincerely apologize. While we aren't perfect, your comments will definitely help us to improve. It seems that your primary concern is the amount of time it took for us to return your rug. I believe there was a misunderstanding regarding the length of time required to professionally clean your area rug. Generally we return rugs in approximately two weeks as stated by the customer service representative when you originally called our office. However, she was unaware that the rug had urine damage. When the service technician arrived to pick up the rug, he identified the urine damage when he performed an inspection of the rug. It is my understanding that he then advised you that the urine removal process requires at least three weeks to complete because it is a more involved restoration process. I realize that prompt service is an important benefit in the eyes of our customers. However, our primary concern is taking the time to deliver a quality cleaning rather than rushing the job. I'm aware that Kerri called you to follow up on the service, and I was grateful to hear that you stated the rug looked good. Another concern was that the rug wasn't completely dry. I'm not sure why the rug felt damp for two days after being delivered. I personally inspected the rug just prior to delivery and didn't detect any dampness when I felt the surface with my hand. But it is possible that the base of the fibers were still damp. Knowing you were anxious to have the rug returned, we may have rushed the delivery process. In retrospect, we probably should have postponed delivery for another day. You mentioned that our company has an Angie's List A Rating. We truly value our reputation and appreciate the praise, confidence, and loyalty of our customers. I realize your experience didn't live up to your expectations. I'd like to provide you with a service credit, in hopes that you'll give us another opportunity to prove ourselves. I will call you to discuss what I can do to earn back your respect."
