Jake Peterson came to my home on a Saturday afternoon. He installed a toilet and sink and inspected some sump pumps and plumbing in my basement. He was quick and professional. He even told me that an area my home inspector recommended service did not need any service. He was honest and easy to work with. Due to a flooring issue beyond his control, he and to come back to install a toilet. He came over on a SUNDAY morning and completed the work in less than one half hour. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic, as usual. I've had him do work before also. Jake is the best! Very easy to talk to, easy-going in general, does great work. Highly recommended!

Jake was professional, and efficient. He not only cleared the drain but also took steps to add a slope to my pipes so they won't be as likely to clog in the future.

Jake Peterson, was extremely professional. He as here for approximately 3 and 1/2 hours. He checked that it was completely unclogged and then that there was no leaks and cleaned everything up. I could not be happier. He did a great job!!!!!

The plumber refused to honor a Big Deal for a new water heater . He cited that I was beyond his service area. I live about 45 miles from his shop. My gripe is that he did not cite a service area in the offer. I am in metro west, about 7 miles off Rt 95 which connects easily to his shop in metro north. He sent me a text a week later refusing to come to my home. Now I am stuck on hold with Angie trying to get an $ 850 charge removed from my credit card.

I called Jake at his business number, no waiting, no recordings, he answered right away. Told him we needed to replace our water heater, quoted me an exact price over the phone, told me it included price of water heater, hauling away of old heater and any pipes needed that were not up to code. I called another plumbing service on Angies list to compare prices, they were $200 more for heater plus any pipes needed was extra. Called back Jake, made an appointment, he arrived on time, installed new heater and explained everything to us. He was so nice, informative, professional, was very neat and described warranty. If we ever need a plumber again, Jake is the one to call.

Jake came on a very short notice and did an excellent job in detecting the source of the leak. He was very professional, polite and thorough when looking for the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and can fully recommend him.

I called Peterson Plumbing in a panic because, in the midst of a three-day home theater install, we found water pipes running right through the ceiling where the 100" projector screen was to be installed. Jake picked up the phone on the second ring, confirmed what I needed to do, and like a life saver, was able to come by the very next morning to reroute the pipes. The work was done professionally and quickly, despite having to dance around two other contractors on-site at the same time. The new pipes look better than new, and working great.

Wish I had known about Peterson Plumbing years ago! Jake was professional and responsive. Was onsite exactly when he said he would. He charged exactly what he quoted for the work. I could not be onsite during the repair, but the tenant spoke very highly of Jake's professionalism, cleanliness, etc. Will absolutely be Peterson again for all my plumbing needs.

Jake was very sympathetic to my problem and help me make quick decisions. He was in an out very quickly and the job was done externally professionally.

I was so impressed with Jake!!! He installed a Gerber elongated toilet in my condo on May 1st. Jake arrived right on time, removed my old toilet and installed the new Gerber elongated toilet in a fast and professional manner. I will definitely use Angie's List again and Jake as well. A really good first impression using a contractor through Angie's List. A+, A+, A+ Thank you.

We didn't have Jake do the work because he recommended another plumber. But he was very responsive and professional.

Everything is working fine now. The pipes to our washing machine were freezing in the cold weather and he figued a way to reroute the pipes inside the house so that wouldn't happen . He was very respectful when we vetoed his first suggestion. Then he came up with some alternatives that involved fewer holes in various walls which worked better for us.

llent results.This was first listed as a special dealon Angies List, but I wanted a particular toilet installed, so it was necessary to deal directly with the plumber. The price was very competitive, and the work was done, on time, with excellent results. Jake the plumber, as he likes to be called, was truly wonderful in his approach---several items, which he repaired while here, would have been billed by the average firm, including a major water leak, whic h was completely unrelated to the work contracted for, was repaired at no cost,and would have been very costly, if neglected. I have dealt with many firms on Angies List, and I can truly say that Peterson Plumbing was above and beyond my highest expectations.

I called Jake after receiving an insane quote from Heritage Plumbing. He came by that day and we talked about what needed to be done. He replaced my 50 gallon power vent tank, a drip pan, new expansion tank and black iron pipe which goes from the tank to the furnace. There had been some silver flexible tubing which I was told by both Jake and Heritage, was not the best thing to have. He is a really nice guy, did a fantastic job and explained a lot of things to me that I didn't know. His price was great and I have let everyone on my street know that I used him.

Was offered a Big Deal from this provider thru Angie's List for toilet replacement. They got back to me quickly after I purchased Big Deal for $350 (paid immediately to Angie's List). Turns out his supplier had run out of Gerber toilet being offered - plumber told me he'd get back to me regarding this problem. When I had not heard from him for two days, I contacted him. He said toilet on order. I asked when new toilet scheduled to arrive. He could not tell me! I found this unacceptable. I cancelled Big Deal order with Angie's List. In my opinion, you should not offer a deal you cannot furnish in a timely manner. Interestingly, two days later I checked - Big Deal still being offered! You would think Angie's List or the plumber would remove Big Deal offer until new toilets arrive or at the very least, an ETA for the toilets was received. Disappointed.

Mr Peterson came right on time as promised to have a look. In fact, he came the same day I called him. Told me he would shop for the part and get back to me the following day with cost of the part and availability. After 24 hours I decided to give him a call to check in. He was very dismissive and I wondered if he actually would've called me back. Stated "I'm very busy and I couldn't find the part. I don't specialize in electronics." Why didn't he tell me that to begin with? I don't need a plumber who isn't an expert in the area in which I have the problem messing with gas in my home. I wish I could give him a higher rating since he was so responsive the first time but, cry me a river, we are all busy. Despite wanting to hang up on him, I forced myself to ask him if he had recommendations on an expert. He made one and they are working out well. Advice for Mr Peterson, don't take jobs if you don't have time and only take ones the next step if you are an expert in the area. Keep up the awesome work on being cordial and prompt on first call. THAT I really appreciated.

They put in a new heating system for us. They were very reliable &. Helpful in getting us the best system at a reasonable price! We would use them again & recommend them highly!

Jake was true to his word ? said he would call on a certain day/time and did just that. He is a very meticulous worker who will do what it takes to get the job done - had to make two separate trips for parts. I highly recommend Peterson Plumbing - not only will I use him again but I have referred him to friends/family.

I could not find my receipts to refresh my memory about when and how much. It was likely in the last 6 months. I was not present when he did the first job, but my tenant said she was satisfied and she raised no further concerns about the problems that the plumber fixed. the second issue was in my home. The kitchen sink was draining very slowly and the disposal stopped working. In about 5 minutes the plumber had addressed the problems, both the clog and the disposal. He asked if I wanted to replace the disposal, apparently it's pretty old but I declined and have had no problem since. I was impressed that he gave me the option to replace. A less honest plumber would have told me it needed to be replaced. Regarding the costs, I really don't remember. I do remember thinking the sink job that he did was fairly expensive. Then again, I didn't shop around so it could be the going rate. I found this plumber to be a no nonsense, professional plumber who is very responsive when called. He seems efficient and honest. I would use him again.

Mr. Peterson states he did not work for us, as indicated in the review submitted on November 13th, 2013. He may not recognize my name, but he was paid by my partner and co-owner of the home in Lynnfield, MA. Thus, this Angie's List account is registered under my personal email address and name and not his directly. Mr. Peterson did not complete the contracted work in our home and he most certainly made a mess of our plumbing and heating, to the tune of thousands of dollars in re-work. This time, the plumbing is currently being redone by a well-vetted, licensed professional plumber. We're hoping this will be a far more professionally and ethically handled experience, rather than the fly-by-night fiasco we just went through with Peterson Plumbing. We will be posting a review of this new company's work as well, in the near future, for those that may need a professional plumber for their home.

It was an old seal and it was starting to rust and he was able to take care of it. He came out the same day that I called. I would use him again in the future and would recommend him to others.
