A framing consultant helped us choose frames for each piece from among their huge selection. They were ready in about a week. When one of the frames didn't look like the sample (it was much darker), they offered us several options: contacting the manufacturer for a different piece, working on it in-house, or selecting another frame. They were able to change it in-house so that it matched the sample we had chosen. Our only complaint is that they initially reacted defensively to this problem, saying that samples aren't always representative, even though that is exactly what a sample is supposed to be. Also, they had not warned us that our frame might differ from the sample. However, after we persisted, we were happy with their solution and the ultimate outcome.
Description of Work: Framed 3 fine-art prints (including matting and glass) and fixed water-damaged matting and backing on another piece. We were seeking advice on framing as well as framing services.
