We are a full service car and light truck service, repair and diagnostic center that also sells high quality used cars and trucks. Our services include brakes, suspension, timing belts, cooling system service and repairs, transmission service, repairs and replacements, engine service, repairs and replacements, air conditioning service and repairs, full computer system diagnostics, tires, tune ups, battery replacement, belts and hoses, electrical diagnostics and repairs fleet vehicle services (we are in the PHH primary supplier network) and more. Weather you own a foreign or domestic vehicle, we service all makes and all models of vehicles from your antique or classic car to your late model vehicle that is still under factory warranty and everything in between including hybrid vehicles! We can perform all of your mileage services on newer vehicles and maintain your new vehicle warranty. We offer a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on all repairs but our best policy is customer satisfaction! Hudson Road Automotive is a Massachusetts State Certified Emissions Repair Facility. We have the latest technology of equipment and a combined experience of over 45 years to service, diagnose and fix your vehicle the first time. The owner is an ASE certified Master Technician with L1 certification and an ASE certified Service Consultant.

Symptoms were scraping on turns, clunk on right turn & bumps, and sudden onset engine noise on start.
After diagnosis, owner Jay called for approval before doing work.
The scraping was bent/rusted brake backing plates (mud guards).
The clunk was right upper ball joint, plus loose front sway bar links.
Removal of the right valve cover & upper timing covers revealed timing belt was OK (phew!),
but crankshaft harmonic balancer was broken (age).
We authorized all proposed work, except for replacing sway bar links.
Work was complete one day later. No subsequent trouble.
For over 10 years, we have used Hudson Road Auto because it was close, reliable and super-honest.
In early 2012, the business was sold to Jay Looney, who retained the two mechanics and many customers.
Jay adds up-to-date technology experience and fantastic diagnostic skill to the high business ethics of the former owner.
