Joe was very responsive.  Set a date and sent a crew of two out to the house to clean gutters that were so dirty they were growing grass in them.  Also asked if I could get a quote to re-do or fix some flashing on one side of the house.  Had other quotes already for $1,000+.   They cleaned out the gutters, looked carefully at the flashing and recommended that they didn't have to do any additional work because the problem was related to clogged gutters.   They also drove by my office so I could cut them a check.  Just excellent service all around.

Joe was very easy to work with. Hie and his crew arrived and completed the job in one day. They needed to replace rotted wood underneath and replaced the shingles. They also cleaned up and took all the debris away. Looks great!

after a few emails he gave us what was a reasonable estimate and said he would be out right after Thanksgiving. We have not heard or seen him since. (except in passing on the road on my way to work on the highway).
I guess the job wasn't big enough??

Joe was responsive, professional and friendly from the first phone call. He was able to visit our home that same day to see the work that needed to be done (replacing our rear gutters/downspout which had been damaged by ice during winter 2015). He scheduled the job in a timely fashion, and his crew were punctual and clean in completing the work. Great job- we are very pleased!

Joe was great. He was very responsive to phone calls and emails (especially compared to other roofers with whom we've worked in the past). He checked in with us beforehand, made sure he had all our specifications met and materials ready, and even coordinated with our contractor (we were gutting the kitchen at the same time). His price was fair based on other estimates. He and his crew showed up promptly on the scheduled day. Joe called us when he had any questions. His crew worked efficiently and was done on time. They did a thorough job of cleaning up; we haven't found one stray nail. We have already hired him to come back and clean our gutters!

They were very courteous and proffesional. I thought they would only be able to take care of the gutters but when I asked them about the rotted wood we had they fixed it all on the spot. I was very pleased with their work. I wll use them anually to clean our gutters and next spring to power wash our deck.

Joe Hennelly and team replaced a flat rubber roof and gutter for me last Fall.  I received several quotes for the project, and Joe's was on the lower end.  He was more responsive than other providers in providing a quote, as I think he met me the day after I initially called him to take a look at the project.  Joe even had some recommendations on how to reduce the cost of the project, which was helpful. 

After his initial inspection, he noted that the neighbor's roof (attached to mine, as this is a city rowhouse) was experiencing some issues.  We're lucky Joe noticed this, as that issue ultimately would have impacted my roof as well.  Joe ended up doing the work on that house as well.  Despite some delays in the work due to weather-related issues (tough to find a streak of dry days in late November), Joe was in constant communication throughout and kept me updated on a daily basis, which I greatly appreciated.  The work went well and Joe's team did a nice job.  We made it through this past winter with no issues.

Would definitely recommend Hennelly and Sons, and in fact I'm using them on a separate project now.

They priced the job incredibly fair, showed up early so I could still make it to work, cleaned out the gutters quickly and effectively, and educated me throughout the process to ensure I was properly maintaining my recently purchased condo.
We will most certainly use Joe and his team each fall moving forward and have already called him back to come do some work on our roof.

Joe was extremely professional. After having contacted several contractors who either never showed up or got back to us three weeks later, Joe was great. He came to see the garage roof and provided a quote the same day. He left samples of the roofing material he would use (Timberline high def) and basically just needed a check to get started. We ended up going with another contractor that came through a work connection only because he gave us an extremely discounted price that Joe (nor any other contractor) could match. We would absolutely call Joe again.

Excellent job. Showed up on time, kept me informed of progress, did exactly what I asked to be done. Kept within promised budget. Very good work.

It went very well.  Joe came out within two days, checked my roof, and determined that the roof was in good condition.

had asked Joe to take a look at a potential issue with the edge of the roof where a leak was entering the house above a couple of windows on one side of the house.  Joe showed up on time, took a look, and assessed the situation right away.  He cleaned the gutters and identified an issue with the gutters which were pulled away from the edge of the roof which was allowing water to run down the side of the house which was causing the water to enter the house.  He repaired the problem and cleaned all the gutters all before my approval but when he called me to tell me what he had done he did mention that he took care of it and if i was not ok with paying him for the work because he did not get my approval first then i would get a free job.  I told him that i would pay him but if the issue was not resolved that he would come back and do the necessary work to repair and he was ok with it.  It was a reasonable $250 for everything.  

Update:  the leak came back.  I contacted Joe a handful of times that included calls and texts and it took over a month to get back to me.  he finally came back, took a look and re-applied silicone to holes that he saw on the gutters and said our gutters need to be replaced and that he was booked until March 2016 and was on his way as if the visit was an inconvenience to him. I've updated the rating to reflect responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

Joe was really responsive... In fact he was one of the only contractors who could help is out in a timely manner. . We had some serious damage from this past winter and needed repair. . Most roofers said it could be done in December some as late as February/March! He got the work done quickly and his team did a great job of cleaning up too. . The job was done in 2 days with a return visit to fix a skylight that he saw was damaged. . 2 months went by and I noticed water runoff did not look right so I called and he came that day and cleaned out our gutters and took care of everything.
