GC McGowan Design
About us
G.C. McGowan Design, LLC is a landscape planning and design firm based out of Scituate, Massachusetts and Providence, RI. G.C. McGowan Designs brings personalized and site oriented design solutions to residential, commercial, and academic clients. We offer a wide range of services, from consulting and site planning to the full coordination and supervision of construction and installation. Our focus is to provide clients with an economical, responsible, and forward thinking approach to realizing their vision for their property as well as develop solutions to bring their vision into fruition. Our designs are completed with the realization of plant material growth and stages of growth and the changes this induces. We help clients keep in mind New England’s seasonal changes so “Greenscapes” are balanced throughout the year. We also provide insight into a project’s environmental sustainability (for example, through Best Storm-Water Management). G.C. McGowan Design embraces the symbiosis of working with clients and contractors alike to deliver the optimal project outcome. Gregory C. McGowan, Principal Education: Master of Landscape Architecture, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Bachelor of Arts, Art History/Visual Arts, Assumption College.

Greg is responsive, reasonable, and practical. There is no upselling, and he tries to reuse and recycle materials from your own property. He's quick to call or text with updates and is very eager to make changes as the project progresses if plans change.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services, whether it be for a consult or a full blown project and installation.
