C & H Hardwood Floors

Not very expensive, but not very reliable and offer so-so quality.

They were very nice to work with, until I called him to come back to fix a problem in the kitchen. I have yet to hear from him.

Henry told us exactly what he was going to do and then did it. Floors look great.

Easy to schedule. Gave quote over the phone after I described the job to him. I was disappointed in the quality of the finished work. There were hazy swirl marks over half of the area and one large obvious urethane spill. Henry did return promptly to correct these areas, but is still not what I would call perfect. However, it is a reasonable job for the price. Definitely a good value and easy to work with, but not an expert result.

Professional in every way, Henry and Carl did an excellent job; I was thoroughly satisfied. Henry returned calls, gave me an exact quote for the job, accurately estimated the time it would take to begin and complete the work. The price was reasonable, they were courteous cleaned-up thoroughly when finished. Was also impressed because other pros in this field would not, either consider taking on a smaller type job and/or their prices were over the top. C&H Hardwood Floors was fair, thorough and skillful. Henry White was very professional. Listened tot he customer, and provided solutions that met my budget and needs. Also gave free helpful hints on other projects in my house.

Arrived on scheduled date, did 2 large rooms and staircase in 3 days. Excellent result.

Did both a hardwood floor and carpentry for me. Excellent work finished on time.

Henry and his partner were very professional, on time and there were no suprises. The floors came out great, they did a good job cleaning up and were very accomodating when it came to working around our schedule and availabiltiy. The initial estimates from all three contractors were within a few hundred dollars but C&H were the only ones whose quote included 3 coats of oil based poly, the others wanted to do laquer.

Project: Installation of prefinished Hardwood floors In Kitchen Living room and dinning. Polyurethane & sand steps install hardwood floors /polyurethane in hallway and replace 5 thresholds. Carl & Henry did an outstanding Job. When we first saw our kitchen, we could not believe how well the installation went. I am particular regarding the amount of space between boards and during the installation; there was very little putty use, which meant that it was installed with great care and accuracy. We ran into issues on the stairs but Carl was able find a solution and executed it with the precision of a professional. I was pleased.

Henry did a nice job refinishing our floors. Equally importantly, he was able to line up the job during a time when we were out of the house anyway; his flexibility was much appreciated. This saved us having to find a place for the kids to stay while the floors were being treated. He also did a nice job on the finishing borders to other rooms and other "skill" pieces.
