MAK Hardwood Floors

The prep work was insufficient. The coating was adequate. The sanding was a DISASTER. Dust everywhere. They made a very half hearted effort to put down coverings. Argued with me when I asked him to make it right. Avoid Anthony. He belongs back where he started reselling produce in Haymarket!

Quick and efficient

I would rate MAK a 10 on the way they blended our old floor with our new. Their flexibility working around the other contractors saved us too. They adjusted their schedule to respond to ours. Overall - amazing service. I'm reading the other reviews and agree with them. Tony was very communicative - calling and texting.

Anthony was very responsive, and willing to use the materials I needed because of my chemical sensitivities. He was willing to adjust the schedule to accommodate my need to move furniture from room to room being finished, and he and his assistant moved the heavy items for me. He unfailingly showed up when scheduled, communicated very well, and was always available when I called with questions or concerns. And his prices were very reasonable, compared with the other quotes I received. I highly recommend him.

I did not have a good experience with this company overall the floors are decent. The customer service is horrible. I requested an invoice a few weeks ago and never received it. There was damage to my kitchen cabinet, and the areas around my fridge/stove were done very unprofessionally. The owner Anthony Le promised to fix it I have not seen since he picked up his check. My whole apartment was engulfed in the dust even the rooms that he did not work in. I covered my appliances/countertops, and everything was uncovered when I returned home. The bathroom that I closed off had dust in the bathtub/sink actually the entire bathroom was a mess. My mom told me not to go with the first estimate I got, but I was leaving town the next day and figured it would be the best time to do the floors oh what a mistake. I would not recommend Anthony Le and the Mak Floor company as very unprofessional. and I am disappointed I will have to hire someone else to fix the floors around my refrigerator/stove.

Anthony was great to work with. He kept some options open for us as he did the demolition and gave good advice about proceeding. The floors are gorgeous. His work was completed on time and they cleaned up every night. We have lots more floors that we will trust him to revive. Highly recommend him.

Anthony was efficent, professional, and communicated well with us. He and his associate did an excellent job with sanding and refinishjing and staining our floors. We could not be more pleased with their work and would recommend MAK Floors again.
