It went very well. John the owner gave me a quote last spring at which time I was impressed with his experience and knowledge. I took some time to make a decision as to if I would have the house sided this year. Finally when we decided to go ahead They held the price quoted earlier. His bid was the lowest of the three firms I contacted. The job was started in August and all went well. The workers seemed to know what they were doing as the answers all questions I had as the process continued. I would recommend this firm highly!

John at US was very patient and friendly. He came by the house sat down at out table and walked us through everything. He was very flexible with the scheduling. 9 windows were done in 1/2 a day . They cleaned up and removed the old windows. I will be using them again very soon

I was looking for someone to  repair a broken seal so I contacted US Home Improvement.  They were quick to respond, but unfortunately did not provide the service I needed.  They did point me in the right direction for my repair. 

It went very well. I had US Home Improvement replace the windows of  the lower level of my house about 4 years back. Due to the excellent expereince, I hired them again to replace the upper level windows. John is an honest man and has a strong work and professional ethics. His crew did a great job, just like last time.  They arrived on time and cleaned up the work areas very well after they left.  After inspecting the windows, I saw some minor things and I called John. He sent his son within two days to take care of everything I wanted. Neddless to say, both he and his son take pride in customer service.
I would highly recommend US Home Improvement.

It went well.  After our first phone call, John responded quickly and came to give an estimate.  He had his son come to double check the measurements.  We were told that the door and windows would arrive and be installed in mid-May, and that happened on schedule.  They were very professional.  We had one minor issue which needed to be fixed after the installation, and It was done very quickly after we pointed it out.  The crew cleaned up nicely when they left.
We had used this provider twice before, and have always been happy with their services.

The windows being replaced had lead paint and we have a 1 year old so John expedited the delivery and installation of the windows to ensure the work was done before we moved in.
The wood was rotting between two of the windows and John rebuilt that section of the frame without any delay in completing the job. He was willing to rebuild a simpler version of the frame at no extra cost.
We found a couple of small issues during our walk-around and John's crew fixed them all immediately.

I would hire them back in a heart beat if needed.

They were good and quick. Their price was pretty good. It may have been a little pricey but it was competitive. They have just been good and I was happy with them. I have noticed an improvement with our insulation.Their responsiveness was very good and they were there before they said that they would. Their professionalism was also excellent.

John and his crew came promptly. The work was done professionally and efficiently. It all went very smoothly.

The price was very good. The quality of the work was ok.  I bought the window and paid for all material, he just did the installation. You get what you pay for. I thought it was going to go well. He thought he could do 3 to 4 a day but he could only do 1 to 2 a day, which was ok because I prefer a good job over a quick job.  The installation on the outside was B work but on the inside, I am still fixing stuff  up.  He was very responsive.

I contacted US Home Improvement for an estimate to replace a bow window in the front of my house.
They were very responsive, answered the phone when I called, and scheduled an appointment right then for the next week.
John Jr came out, was right on time, answered all my questions.  One thing that surprised me was that he didn't try to promote a certain brand of window, or have one of those cross cut sections to try and explain his preferred product to me, but that's not important, just surprised me.
John Jr left, promising to email me a quote within a few days, which he did.  His pricing was higher than the other estimate I had gotten by about 15%.  The "C" in professionalism stems from the proposal he sent me.  He spelled my name wrong, and made quite a few gramatical errors.  It made me wonder if he's that careless with my first impression of his work, how's the real thing going to come out.

John was very quick to come out to our house and reviewed the problem of water intrusion around some windows in our 1 year old house. He agreed to provide us with a quote for what likely would have needed to be done to prevent water intrusion at the windows, so that we would had something for discussions with our Builder. Not too many contractors were willing to do that when they heard it is for a warranty dispute with our Builder. The Builder finally was forced by the Building Commissioner to repair the windows, otherwise we would have hired John to do the repairs for us.

John Carrol supervised the work in person throughout the process. When parts arrived sooner he installed them sooner. His team was professional, polite and clean. There were no hidden surprises or extra costs during or after the installation. On the contrary, there were a few fixes that John did not have to do and he did it any how just as part of the service. 
I am very picky when it comes to contractors. 
Honesty has been my number one consideration. I would not go anywhere else for doors or windows.  

Working with John and his crew was a great experience.  We felt John gave us an honest bid (we had three bids total) with a fair price.  We felt that he did not try to talk is into spending more money and in fact actually told us that some things we wanted to do were not cost effective.  By redesigning some of our plan he saved us a few thousand dollars.  His timeline was right on as he told us when the windows would be in and called ahead to schedule his team to arrive.  They were always here when they said they were going to be. The job took about two weeks and the team worked really hard to get it done on time.  The only complaint we have about their work is the mess of screws and sharp objects left in the yard.  However, we were able to clean that up ourselves relatively quickly.  Once the windows were put in, two of the panes cracked.  John has been great about getting us a new pane and installing them.  We really loved working with John and his crew and would highly recommend them.

They were prompt, tidy, finished on time, stayed within quoted price.

The experience with U S Home Improvement was excellent from start to finish. Mr. Carroll came to do an estimate just a few days after my initial call. I had four other companies come to give me estimates. Mr. Carroll's estimate was the lowest cost of all the estimates but that was not why I chose his firm. He took the greatest care in measuring the windows, explained the benefits of the Alside windows and  was the most professional in his presentation. I called his company because he had so many A ratings in Angie's List. After they finished the windows in one room but had not finished installing all the windows I could hear and feel the difference the Alside Windows made. The room was quieter and warmer. I could not hear street sounds and I live on a very busy street. Mr. Carroll patiently showed me twice how to open in windows for cleaning and how to remove the screen in spring to put the air conditioner in for the summer.John carefully removed and saved the holders for the window shades then after the window was installed replaced the holders and shades. One of the windows had an old air conditioner which weighed a ton. John cheerfully took it out to a dumpster in the back of the building. This was way above and beyond what he was required to do and a tremendous help to me. If Angie had an A+ rating I would give it to everyone with U S Home Improvement. I already recommended the company to a unit owner down the hall who ordered new windows from them.

John, the owner, came to give us an estimate and show us his windows.  He was very pleasant, explained the job, answered all of our questions and put NO PRESSURE on us to use his company - very refreshing after dealing with representatives from  few bigger companies.  We asked him about replacing the windows from outside of the house to save the inside frames and although this was not his usual approach he agreed to do it that way.  His crew came on time- actually they were early, they were professional, efficient and fun.  The job was done in a day and half only because the rain made the crew finish little early the first day.  We were extremely impressed by this company and the amount of expertise John and his crew presented.  Would use them again!
