"Dear [member name removed], Thank you for your review. We believe that your repeated rudeness and disrespect to my staff should not be tolerated and are very happy that you will no longer be visiting our hospital. You are correct, after several episodes of your bad behavior, I did finally lose my temper with you and spoke to you in a language which I am glad you understand; however, this was unprofessional and I apologize. We wish you the best luck finding a veterinary professional who will tolerate your behavior. Best wishes, Sean Sawyer, VMD Review of [Member name Removed] Overall D Price C Quality D Responsiveness F Punctuality B Professionalism F (is there anything less?) Would I take [member name removed] back as a client - Not in a million years."

They are very friendly and professional. I've never had my dog treated for fleas and worms before so I'm not sure how the price compares. Overall I'm very happy with this vet.

I called in the morning around 10, and they got me in to see the Vet at 4pm on the same day. The receptionist was extremely helpful, and professional. Jack had not been acting like himself for a few days, and he also needed his bordatella vaccine so that he could go to his grooming appointment. The vet tech Melissa asked a lot of routine questions, and listened carefully to everything I said. She was knowledgeable. and friendly, and despite Jack being a bit timid, he warmed up to her very soon. Dr. Jessica Young came in, and asked a bunch more questions, all the time focusing on Jack and what his normal behaviors are. Dr. Young and Melissa worked very well together, and soon determined that Jack indeed had a temperature. Instead of ordering a whole bunch of costly tests, they decided to do a snap test for Lyme's disease and heartworm. i had been using Advantix Multi for flea (and I thought tick) prevention, but since our move from Western NY state, I had removed ticks from him on at least 3 occaisons, including once when I knew that he had been bitten.
The test came back positive for Lyme's disease, and I was heartbroken. Dr. Young explained how different the disease is in animals compared to humans, and calmed my nerves. Jack is on an antibiotic for 30 days, and already seems to be more like his old self. I am so glad that I called PawSteps when I did, and I am also very happy with the entire staff and facility. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing this service.
