I read the review by the first customer and honestly, it sounds personal. I go to Pro- lube for everything including tires and have done so for years and I can't say enough about them. Dana is awesome, she runs the front desk, she remembers who you are, logs you in, takes accurate notes about what the issue is of the day, and calls you with diagnostics to get your decision before they do any work. She is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I even had them do a check on a car I was thinking of buying. They are excellent!!!!
John, the owner, obviously takes pride in how he runs his business. I day kudos, John!
They can't be trusted. Maybe if you deal with the owner - John - you maybe alright, but avoid the service desk. ! !
"Our business hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday. This customer came near the end of the month for a State auto inspection. It's alway veryy busy at the end of the month because by human nature people wait until the last minute. We have no control who checks in first for service. We try to police it but it can be difficult. The rules and regultions are the published by the Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles and we must follow them. If the customer in fact checked with the RMV as he has indicated and we were mistaken they would have called us or visited us to intervene on his behalf. This did not happen. We are in a difficult postion when doing auto inspections and must sometime give bad news. Customer's automobile is 11 years old and has over 232,000 miles on it. This was his fourth inspection at our shop. We have not performed any other service on this car but a state inspection based on our records going back to 2008. We are truly sorry the customer is unhappy."
