We can't speak highly enough of Eric and his work.  He was always courteous, professional and friendly.  He patiently answered all our questions and revised his quote multiple times when we made changes to the plan. He is extremely adept with Ikea cabinetry and products, and was able to pull off a custom look with stock cabinetry -- he even made some suggestions about the design of the cabinetry and we changed our layout based on his recommendations (great design sense!).  His carpentry skills are excellent, his tiling skills are meticulous, and even when things don't go quite his way, he takes it all in stride with good humor and grace. 
 As a general contractor, Eric seems to seek out subs that are just as pleasant and professional as he is -- all the contractors that he brought in, electrical and plumbing, were terrific and a pleasure to have around. He was always on top of what needed to be done, who needed to do it and when.  He handled the town's permitting process (which is not an easy one), and even made a point of being here when the dumpster was delivered and picked up -- just to make sure that it went smoothly. 
We expected a total kitchen renovation to be a painful and stressful process, but it wasn't in the least.  Eric set up a make-shift kitchen in our dining room, and always let us know what to expect on any given day.
In the end, the kitchen far exceeded our expectations.  We love it!
