Josh came out to do the measurements and estimate. We received multiple estimates, pretty similar in price. I think Colonial was slightly higher. But his knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail, even in regards to obtaining the estimate won me over. I easily communicated with Ken Jr via email many times throughout the hiring and scheduling process. He always responded promptly and answered my questions thoroughly. The fence installation was completed yesterday. The guys did an absolutely amazing job. It looks beautiful. I was so impressed with them and their dedication to performing a quality job. Initially, when the vinyl fence went up on one side, there was a large gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground due to the grade of the property, (certainly large enough at one point that my 2 small children could crawl under or if we were to get a dog, could easily slip under). Perry and his crew took the initiative and handled this issue before I even had the chance to ask about it. They cut and placed additional vinyl to that area. It looks terrific and I feel safe to have the kids running around out there (my goal in getting the fence). Additionally, they had no issue with us having a tree removal service come out while they were here so that we could take care of a couple of tree issues on the property line, prior to a new fence going up. I can't say enough positive things about the staff.
Almost forgot .. I had expressed interest in moving up my date at any time if they happened to have something open up (was so eager to get the fence for my kids) -- they were in fact able to do this. I was so excited to have the fence to corral my kiddos a few weeks sooner than planned -- that was a nice surprise!

Josh and Ken Jr. came to our property at the scheduled time for an estimate and recommendation for what we wanted done. We wanted to enclose the backyard for a dog and they pointed out a few items to consider - like where to tie it in to the side of the house and the line to take through some pine trees. They got their estimate back quickly and we scheduled a time time frame for their work. They were able to accommodate a specific week we wanted with enough advance notice. They called a few times to remind us to do some pruning we agreed to do on some trees in advance of their start.
They showed up in a timely manner on the first day and it was just one gentleman (didn't catch his name) who did the bulk of the install over 3 days. He was great and even did some extra pruning that needed to be done. They cleaned up after and the fence looks nice and was installed exactly like we agreed upon.

They were great right from the moment they came to give an a quote, to all of their communication before the fence was installed, to the fact that they were able to have it installed before a party we were having were there would be children and we wanted to make sure the kids wouldn't be able to run into the neighbor's yard.
It was a great experience, and we are already planning on using them to replace another side of our fence when it needs to be done. My husband is already wanting to do it sooner after the other work they did!

Colonial Fence did a great job start to finish! Everyone we worked with was very professional and delivered as promised. This install took place the second week of December and in some very difficult weather conditions. The first day the crew faced freezing conditions, followed by a significant warm up and heavy rain. Despite the challenges the crew from Colonial Fence completed the job on time and on budget. We love our new fence and the quality of the product. The recommendations Colonial made fit our needs perfectly.

All went as planned, and on schedule. There was a misalignment that needed reworking (due to concrete in the way). They found an alternative to fix the issue and I was very satisfied with the result.

An Amazing experience! We had decided to quote out 3 different fence companies, and Colonial Fence came in equal to the other quote, but with superior quality materials! From the fence itself, to the gates, the posts and inserts, we couldn't be happier!
From the very start, we enjoyed meeting with Ken Sr. , he took the time to explain everything to us, verbally and showed us all the materials that they use to do the job.........very personable and professional.
The foreman on our job, Jeff, did an outstanding job, very friendly, as were Eduardo and the other installer that accompanied Jeff on the first half of the install.
I can't say enough about the positive experience......if you need any kind of fencing.HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The process was incredibly easy to follow and the folks we worked with at each step in the process asked great questions and guided us to make good decisions. At the outset, we stopped by the location and walked around looking at all of the options (and there are quite a few). We had a couple of ideas and went in to talk to the gentleman who was available to help us. He asked a couple of questions and drew out what we explained and we showed him a picture of where we planned to put the fence. His experience helped us to quickly decide on the best choice for what we wanted and what would look best. Our first choice, in retrospect, would not have looked as good as what we have. He was very nice in explaining to us why we might want to consider something slightly different and he was absolutely correct. The next step was to have someone come to our home to actually walk the property with us and to put flags down where the posts would go. This gentleman asked questions that we hadn't even thought about: like....where is the septic and leeching field and how deep is it? He encouraged us to check with the engineer who did the "as built" and to have him double check everything to be sure that they would not be digging anywhere that might cause us trouble. As it happened. the flags were in exactly the right spot and the engineer was happy to tell us that we should go forward as planned. As promised, we received a call the night before the installation was to start and the guys showed up on time to start the work. They were polite, professional and worked all day getting the fence and arbor up and looking beautiful. They completely cleaned up after they were done and did not ruin the gardens on either end of the fence, which I was a little worried about. They were obviously careful where they walked and dug and put dirt. From beginning to end, this was a thoroughly positive experience. Several friends and family have come by and walked over to the side yard and absolutely love the addition to our yard and gardens.

to be very difficult. I could definitely tell in many instances they took their

The job went perfect. The installer, Jason was professional and did top notch work. He addressed all aspects of the install and was very diligent with his time. I felt he went the extra mile to complete the project to m satisfaction. The job was started and completed on time and Ken Jr. kept in contact with me from the beginning on when we could expect the install to happen.

Called for estimate and their assess came out within the week to quote us a price. They do most of their correspondence through e-mail. They sent me the quote, billing, and service contract via e-mail. We accepted because of Angie's list reviews and the price was great compared to the other 4 companies we recieved quotes from. The job was booked for about 1 1/2 months out. We were aware it would be later in the season because it is busy season. They gave us an estimated date and within that 2 week they arrived to do the work. They were professional and finished the job in 1 1/2 days. We love the new fence and would reccomend them to others.

They came out to do a quote - arrived on time and were very professional. We received an email with the quote a few days later. They quoted us a couple of different styles and qualities. Their quote for the higher quality fences was less than the other company's quote, which I suspect was for a lesser quality. Not only that, they answered all our questions promptly & followed up where appropriate. They went out of their way to tell us about how the gates should be set up in accordance with current code as we have a pool in our yard. I didn't even have to ask. The other provider never mentioned it.
Once we signed the contract we received an email back, letting us know when the work would be scheduled. Right when expected, we got a call the day before as to when they would be starting.
