They got there right on time, which was great. The move out of the apartment went fine. However, the move into my house was awful - they gouged the walls in several places, ripped paint off the walls, dented the ceilings, and didn't apologize or mention anything about the damages. Then when they had finished, they insisted that I had to pay for a minimum of four hours in addition to supplies they used without asking me and travel time to and from the move sites - the total move time (including transportation) took under two hours, so I told them that I would pay for two hours and the supplies. They tried to argue with me, insisting that there was a four-hour minimum, but it didn't say so anywhere in the paperwork so I refused. Overall, I was very unsatisfied with this experience.

Oscar's was responsive, fast, and cheaper than we had budgeted.

Oscar's Moving Co was available on short notice for my move. They quoted me at half the cost and were able to do it the weekend that I wanted. The movers were helpful and fast even though it was 90 degrees, the quote was pretty spot on with me only paying $7 over what was quoted.

Very good overall. Everyone was courteous and professional and careful. The one minor thing was that one of the movers was a bit undersize and struggled a bit moving some items. But everyone was nice and easy to deal with overall.

The guys were absolutely wonderful. They couldn't have been more professional and went out of their way to be helpful.

Office staff was extremely unpleasant. Rude about answering insurance questions, and initially said they were unable to deliver packing materials (which they provide at a discount before moving day). When I complained, limited materials were provided. Overall, movers did a good job. A few items could have been better wrapped. A-/B+ for movers, C for office staff

When I first called them, they sounded like everything would be moved smoothly after letting them know what needed to be moved. I put particular emphasis on the items that I knew were fragile and valuable, such as a large base to my bed, that would need to be handled and packaged with care. There is fabric on the base of the bed, it was not wrapped at all and was dragged along the ground. It now has a line of jet black dirt that I haven't been able to get out as well as little pulls and a puncture in the microfiber. I was actively trying to show extra concern as they were moving it up the stairs in my new residence, they disregarded what I said. They didn't have a good hold on this furniture which caused it to be dropped several times and pulled on the ground. They broke the window in the back door. When we inquired what they could do about the shattered window, they told me that I could fix it myself easily. They also tore a door inside the house off of it's hinges. On three different days, I talked to this company confirming the coupon was accepted without printing it out. The day of the move, I brought the coupon up again. They then told my fiance that they couldn't honor it because it wasn't printed out. Bear in mind, they didn't know they could use a loading zone at the end of my street. They told me I could get a parking permit within 24hrs, which it actually takes a week, and was unnecessary because there is a loading zone. They then charged me an hour of labor for moving three chairs and for discussing the parking permit.

This was a big, complicated move, which they handled with excellence. Nothing broken, everything placed properly. Highly recommended.

The quoted price and delivery time was a lot better than the national carriers. Level of pre-sale service was excellent. I asked them to come and quote twice, once near the move date to update the changes to the initial inventory list for more accuracy. Scheduling was exactly as we wanted. The moving crews were professional, punctual, polite and thorough. They arrived on time on both sides of the move. They carefully wrapped and packed our items on to two trucks on Monday arrived Wednesday morning at the new location. They started immediately, unloaded, setup and before leaving asked if we needed anything moved to different locations. No items were damaged or misplaced. They worked very **** ** a very hot NC day without complaint. Thanks to Oscars moving crew, (unfortunately all their names escape me), for making this part of the relocation as painless as it could be made. Would use again.

Very professional, hard working, skilled people. They took very good care of everything. It was amazing how securely they disassembled huge fragile furniture, kept overnight, delivered and put them back together at new location the next day with zero damage. Highly recommended.

They were great!  The team showed up on time, the price was very reasonable, the movers were professional and knowledgeable. They unloaded our home and kept our belongings overnight (for a very small fee) in order to move us in the next day.  Nothing was broken.

I received a quote from Oscars about three months ahead of our move and I accepted their proposal.  We didn't have a definite date as our new house was undergoing extensive renovations.  Oscars and I communicated regularly about the date and about a month ahead of time, I gave them a likely date.  Two weeks before that date, I called to confirm that same date.
The sales rep, Tony, then told me, "We are raising the price 20% because you took so long to give us a date."  I objected, saying "You never told me the price would go up if I didn't give you a date by a certain time."  He basically said "too bad.  Good luck with your move" and hung up on me.
I would never recommend a business with this lack of integrity.

Both crews were great. They were hard workers. They were very cordial and polite. I will be calling to commend them.

They were late. I would use them again.

The three movers were courteous, efficient and patient. We were still packing when they came and they helped out. They bid far less (up to half as much) than other companies and did a great job.

They were a great team. It was a hot day and I have an asphalt driveway. They left an indentation on the asphalt. They should have left aboard down. I didn't realize it until they were gone. The price was reasonable. They were a rare moving company. They were competitive. The quality was an A. They did a good job of moving our furniture and getting it in to the house. They got back to me. They were on time. Their professionalism was fine. They were good enough.

Everything went smoothly and the guys were nice.

It was an odd situation and I wasn't entirely clear if I was being ripped off or not. I was coming down from Cambridge and I got delayed. I wasn't right behind them, and when I got here they weren't here. I wasn't totally clear if they had been here or not. I called the office and somebody said that they should be right along, it had been several hours. They called the driver and they were here in three minutes. The people were very nice. They helped me with a couple of things that were in the wrong place and they move them. They couldn't figure out where to put the boxes, there was a language barrier. A friend was helping me that spoke Spanish and he helped give directions. Things weren't broken or missing, so that part was good. I think it took longer than it needed too because of the language barrier. It didn't occur to me until later that it would have been a big help. They left in a U-haul truck and that bothered me. I thought they were cheaper than the other estimates that I got. I thought they did a good job.
