He didnt apply for a work permit and I was fined by the Town. Finally got his work inspected and didnt meet code. After many back and forths and a few rushed and improper fixes he disappeared.... I am left with work that needs to be redone and now will cost me dearly.... Avoid at all costs!

"Thanks for the review. The work was completed at the beginning of the year and we never received any calls so we could analyze the situation. We went to the building deparment and did our part to get the permit out and fixed all the specifications to bring up the code, and it was all funded by the company money. It is very rare to come across a reliable and professional builder. I had the great fortune of contracting with WS Builders for rebuilding the porches on my home. Everything was a pleasant surprise. Wladimir Simoes was responsive, listened to everything that was said, and returned rapidly with a proposal. He also presented his insurance certificates, license, and other documents required by the city of Boston in a timely manner. The work began on the day that was promised, and every step along the way was well communicated. I was always able to reach Wladimir for questions and discussions. The result is a porch that was built professionally, inspected and is a great improvement to the house. It is so rare to meet a contractor who shows up on schedule, and produces great work at a reasonable price that I felt compelled to give a great review.

Poor workmanship. Had to have them come back to redo part of the job and it still was not done to our satisfaction. There is no quality control as the owner/boss does not come out to check the work that is done.

This company is great! They did an amazing job repairing and repainting my front porch. I followed up with hiring them to do additional tasks including, roofing, vinyl siding repair, storm door installation, fence repair and hedge stump removal. They did a fantastic job on these requests as well. Wladimir (the owner) is very personable and easy to work with. He responds quickly to emails and phone calls.

I was nervous about the cost of the fence and the quality of the work, because we live in a high granite area and it can be a real challenge to dig holes deep enough for the fence posts. I was also nervous about writing a check for 60% of the project before the work had started. ALL of my concerns were put to ease when I hired Wladimir. Not only was the work completely custom done in a beautiful manner, but his professional demeanor and personable nature made him a pleasure to work with. He worked super hard and clearly takes pride in his work. The cost was nearly half of what Home Depot had quoted me. My neighbor was so thrilled with the fence that he hired Wladimir to do his yard too! I highly recommend him.
