Jay and team arrived on time and replaced the aging extension springs, cables and some rollers in my garage.  Excellent service  from start to finish!  Very reasonable pricing too. Definitely would recommend !

Great!  I called Jay at 11am and the work was completed before 1pm the same day.  Couldn't be happier that it was a quick fix at a reasonable price.

Impressive from start to finish! My telephone call was returned in a timely manner and Jay was able to go to my office within an hour of speaking with him and he fixed the issue with my garage door. Very pleased with the service. Can't say thanks enough to Jay! Would definitely call him again!

Another Angie's list 'Big Deal' turns out to be a waste of money.
You better know exactly what you need before buying. It turns out I didn't need the wheels fixed, I needed the pulley (which looked like a wheel) and spring. Those weren't part of the big deal so out went another $65. According to the tech, I paid $89 for the inspection and "travel time". Had I hired them outright, it probably would have been cheaper than using the "big deal'.
Now I understand the Big Deal is a partner thing between Reliable and Angie's list- but I feel they could have done something especially after I was very flexible in changing my appointment time to accommodate them being in the area. Basically I feel taken advantage of- but if you are holding the review to be 'were services done as written', yes they were.

Jay and a co-worker showed up a little early for my appointment which was a nice surprise since I expected to have them arrive towards the end of the time window they gave me.   Jay was extremely pleasant and professional.  He inspected my garage door,  hardware (including springs and cables), and seals around the door and informed me that honestly, he didn't see any problems other than the rollers needed to be replaced.  He replaced the rollers and greased the pullies.  He also took the time to give me maintenance tips on maintaining the rollers, pullies, and rubber seals.  He did NOT try to sell me anything...:-)  The whole process took about 30 minutes.

I will definitely use Jay/Reliable Overhead Door again in the future and happily recommend him to family, friends, and Angie's List folks.  GREAT experience.

Jay came out as soon as I contacted the company. He was friendly, polite and very informative.  He answered every question and worked with the builders on their schedule. It was truly a pleasure to do business with him and his company. His quote came in $100's if not $1000's below the other garage door companies.

They came quickly, responded with a competitive quotation and installed both doors on time and for the cost quoted.

My garage door has noise during opening and closing, it can't close evenly to the ground, and the protection mode doesn't work. Jay and his partner came in, checked the system, identified the problem, replaced the parts, fixed problem and added lubrication. Everything was done professionally and quickly, and they charge very reasonable.

I called Reliable on Monday regarding a snapped cable on my garage door (rendering my garage door opener useless), and they were here on Tuesday fixing it. They replaced the cable and a spring while also oiling both of my garage doors (even though they were only there to work on one of them).

MY HUSBAND GOT THE NUMBER OF RELIABLE OVERHEAD DOOR FROM HIS FATHER, CALLED, AND JAY SCIONTI SHOWED UP IN THE SPECIFIED TIME FRAME JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD. FIRST HE HELPED MY HUSBAND GET THE DOOR OPENED MANUALLY (WITHOUT HAVING TO BREAK ANY WINDOWS TO FIRST GET INSIDE), THEN HE QUICKLY IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM, WHICH WAS A COMPONENT IN THE GARAGE DOOR MOTOR NEEDING REPLACEMENT. HE DID THE WORK PROMPTLY, AND REASONABLY PRICED. HE EVEN CAME BACK TO ENSURE THE REMOTE SWITCH WE HAVE HARD-WIRED FROM THE HOUSE TO THE GARAGE WAS OPERATING CORRECTLY. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS. LASTLY, WE PLAN TO BUILD/EXPAND OUR CURRENT 1-CAR GARAGE TO A 2-CAR GARAGE AND JAY RECOMMENDED TO US A CONTRACTOR HE HIMSELF WAS HAVING DO SOME WORK ON HIS HOUSE. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THIS OTHER CONTRACTOR WORKS OUT!
