When I called to ask about prices, they gave me an estimate based on size so I wasn't surprised when I dropped the rugs off for cleaning. They helped me unload the several rugs from the car and laid them out in the shop to explain what they could and couldn't do in terms of cleaning.
Then the gave me the price and a date for completion.
The did the work as promised and loaded them in the card for me when I picked them up.
The rugs turned out beautifully and I would definitely use Melrose oriental rug again.

I was extremely happy with their service. The owner, Dave, came to pick up the rug. He was able to come quickly and cleaned it beautifully. I picked the rug up at the store after the cleaning (delivery was optional, but I chose to pick it up). Dave and his staff were kind and professional. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

When cleaning pet stained rugs the process could involve several washings to ensure that the odor is removed from the rug. I am glad to hear that you were satisfied with the cleaning."

Got some stains out of a rug we use under the dining table. You can imagine how dirty such a rug gets. Also suggested ways for me to hang a rug and is a service they provide.

This family company took the rug, inspected the area's that needed attention. Explained the process to me, noted some damage and repaired the rug at no cost. Told me when to expect the rug, and called me to the exact day that they said it would be ready. This was the first time I used Melrose Oriental Rug but it won't be the last.

The employees of Melrose Oriental Rug are a wonderful example of professionalism. When I first inquired about their service via Angie's List email, they owner responded within an hour or so. After the rugs were picked up, the owner, Dave, phoned me to be sure I understood what they could do for me so there was no misunderstanding. When the rugs were returned to me, they were right on time, moved the furniture as needed and were careful to replace everything back on the rugs as I desired. The price was reasonable and my rugs are beautiful. Thank you, Melrose Oriental Carpet!

Super conscientious, engaged owner who cares to do the very best. The carpets came out with brighter color and bounce. The surprise was the cost which was the same as the businesses way out of town advertising low rates.

Dave returned my call immediately and set up an appointment very quickly. I have oriental rugs that have been in my family for 3 generations that were quite dirty and needed a cleaning and new pads and also I wanted to get them out of the house before any damage was done to them during home renovations. Dave was very accommodating and came right out and picked up the rugs and now they have been returned. They look fantastic!! I can't believe how bright they look and how clean they are. Dave called when he said, arrived when he said, and delivered and installed when he said. I can't say enough about the great job and the professionalism from beginning to end of the project. I will use again to keep my rugs in good condition.

We used Melrose Oriental 3 times in the last year. First we brought a large oriental rug in to be cleaned. They did an excellent job and it was ready when they said it would be. We also bought some skid resistant backing for a smaller rug. It worked great. Since then we have been back two more times for additional skidproof backing for other rugs. We measure our rugs at home and they cut it at their store when we bring in our measurements. They are friendly, helpful and cut the backing while we wait. Although we haven't bought any rugs from them, the store is stocked with a large selection of beautiful oriental rugs. The next time we need a rug cleaned - and if we ever need to buy another rug - we will definitely go back to Melrose Oriental.

The information and service was excellent and I highly recommend Melrose Oriental Rug! They're a family owned business for about 40 years. It was reassuring and impressive to have David, owner and expert, attend to my oriental rugs and my needs as I was moving quickly from one home to another. He gave sound advice on the cleaning and getting rid of a moth problem plus what was worth fixing and not given the value of my rugs. David made a special effort to make sure the rugs were delivered the morning after my move -- with wonderful skill in positioning as well as laying out the padding and rugs in my new space. All was efficient, personable, and high quality. Melrose is a company that does a little extra, like repairing (no charge) what we initially said not to bother with because when they had a look it made sense to do it.

Dave at Melrose Oriental Rug Co. is a true professional, very courteous, punctual, knowledgeable and attentive to detail. He just delivered my carpets and they LOOK AMAZING Colors are fresh and repairs are BEAUTIFULLY DONE, replacement pad purchased fits perfectly.
It had been years since my carpets were cleaned, and a very large one was in need of repairs so I reached out on Angie's list to this company, Dave responded quickly to my inquiry, scheduled an appointment within a couple of days to look at my 2 carpets and give me an estimate. He called me when he was on his way and was very punctual, courteous, friendly and professional. He was very good at explaining the repairs that were needed on one of my carpets and how they would be done. He marked the rugs so that they would be turned properly in the room to balance wear when they were returned. They replaced all of the furniture in both rooms. I am so happy with their service that I plan to visit their showroom at their annual sale for a smaller rug for another area. Call him you will not be disappointed.

The owner, David Mouradian, provided fabulous service. He picked up and delivered the rug - we're in Boston. I have had good experiences with the service providers that I have found on Angie's List but David went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It was always easy to reach Dave and I was made to feel that my questions and concerns were important. I have 30 rugs ranging from 8' x 10', down to 2' x 3'. I needed to store some of them for a time. Melrose Oriental Rug Co Inc. provides a service where cleaned and treated rugs can be individually shrink-wrapped for protection and stored at the customer's home until it's the right time to bring it out. So, if you have oriental rugs, and they ever need attention for any reason, I would recommend Melrose Oriental Rug Co Inc. When I opened the big rug, it just sparkled like it did when it was brand new! I make this suggestion because in my experience with the Melrose Oriental Rug Co Inc, I was treated with kindness and respect right from the start. They always arrived at my house exactly when they said they would and did what they said they would do. Anytime I had a question or concern, Dave called me or emailed me right away, or within the hour. I would hire the Melrose Oriental Rug Co Inc again in a second because I have total confidence in them. I have already recommended them to my friends.

Service was excellent. Price was in line with work accomplished.
I dealt with David Mouradian and found him to be very courteous, professional and technically capable. The rugs were picked up when promised and returned when promised. Of particular note is the effort David put into and the results achieved in successfully cleaning several bleached out red stains from a light cream colored Moroccan Berber rug.
I would certainly use David and Melrose Oriental Rug Co., Inc. again for any of my carpet cleaning needs. I also would not hesitate to recommend David and his company to others.

Dave came out personally and looked at my rug. He noticed several small holes and that the fringe was uneven. He included the repair of the holes and fringe in the cleaning price. I am so happy with this company!

Melrose cleaned both a Persian Hariz carpet and a Stark wool carpet with border, two very different types of carpets. Did an excellent job on both. Extremely professional. Punctual. Helpful in many ways. I completely recommend them.

From the beginning Dave was extremely professional. I was able to set up an appointment right away. He came on a weekend, looked at my rugs, discussed cleaning and repairs and I had an extremely accurate estimate later that day. When Dave returned with his helper, Max, they were again very professional. He helped decide on rug placements in my new home. The rugs looked great and the repair job on a very difficult rug looks fantastic! Dave and Max moved furniture, placed the rugs exactly the way I wanted them, and replaced the furniture. I am looking forward to visiting Dave's showroom to pick out a new rug for my dining room!
